CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE He led me out of the room and down the hall, and we soon found ourselves on the third floor of the keep. Four guards stood watch at a door near the head of the stairs. Tegan and I hesitated at the closed entrance and he released his hold on my hand. “Well, here goes,” he mused before he took a step into the door. And went right through it.
