“Emma! Are you alright?” Leon asked anxiously.
“Wa~~~~” Since Emma’s voice was low and weak, Leon couldn’t hear her properly. He leaned closer to her to hear her word “What did you say, Emma?” He asked impatiently.
“Water…” He finally heard her word. He hurriedly searched for the water and saw right at the bedside table. He poured the glass of water and lift her up gently, resting her head on his chest, he helped her to drink the water.
He found out that her body was still hot but the temperature had reduced compared to earlier. He was somehow relieved by the fact that the antidote was working on her.
After she drank the water, he asked with concern “Emma! Are you feeling alright now? Are you feeling pain anywhere? Let me know okay?” His voice was gentle and warm with concern for her.
