A line of black SUVs like she had not seen standing outside the plane with her husband running up the steps when the door opened. She took off her seatbelt and ran into his arms. Isobel didn’t realize how scared everything had made her until she saw him.
“Minx, I’m so glad you are safe and at home. You are never leaving my side again!” Isobel noted how Radagast breathed in her scent.
“That will be debatable, but for now, I’m happy to be home.” Not even thinking to ask anything else, she didn’t fight him, when he picked her up bridal style and carried her down the steps and to the car. Max grabbed Emma’s hand and followed them, letting go as soon as they were in front of prying eyes.
