Chapter 25
WHEN TOM GOT HOME from school Monday afternoon, he went to the computer to check both e-mail accounts, which was the first thing he usually did when he got home. He found a message from their lawyer listing the documents that he would like to review. He and Noah had set the file cabinet up in one corner of the upstairs porch, so he went to it and retrieved the requested files. Then he took them to the lawyer’s office and gave them to his secretary. By the time he got home for the second time that afternoon, Noah was home and waiting in their bed.
“Where have you been?” Noah said. “I was just about to take care of this myself.” He pointed at his erection.
“Didn’t you check the computer?”
