“You were listening to choral music when you were that young?”
“Oh yeah,” Tom said. “Remember, I grew up in Orlando, and there were a lot of opportunities to attend performances in any number of venues. Mom, bless her heart, not only encouraged me to go to concerts, she took me to them. We had season tickets for the Bach Festival as far back as I can remember.”
They invited Bobby and Noah’s grandparents to come to Jacksonville for the Thanksgiving service and to join them in the church hall for the potluck Thanksgiving dinner. They seemed to enjoy the occasion and went to the house with them to visit for a while afterward. “I really enjoyed not having to cook for Thanksgiving,” Mrs. Walker said after they had settled down in the living room.
