“Should we go to the store together with Grace?” Cayne asked Jilly as he was getting ready to go out to get groceries just like what she had asked him. “We can go to the park after that,” he continued to persuade her. It would be good not only for Jilly but also for Grace to come out of the house to refresh their eyes. He always thought it was nice to go out as a family like he saw on the street whenever he went out.
“No,” she refused almost immediately.
“Why? Not even for Grace?” He looked at her hopefully.
“Don’t even try to lure me with Grace.” She glared at him which shut him up right away.
“Just this once, Jilly. I want to be able to go out with my family, you and Grace. I always envied those outside walking on the street.” He hopped onto the bed and pleaded, uttering his thoughts
