Seven months and the baby was still going strong in Jilly’s stomach. But, her doctor advised the family to do a C-section to deliver the baby because he doubted the baby could make it into full term, and with Jilly still in a coma, she couldn’t deliver the baby naturally. It was either that or the baby wouldn’t make it at all. Her doctor believed that the baby had a chance to live if a C-section was to be performed. The baby would be premature but had a chance to live.
