“I missed her.” Both Jilly and Cayne were lying down on their back looking up at the ceiling in their bedroom. Only their breathing sound could be heard in the entire room, this felt like the silence before the storm. Cayne had his arms underneath his head while Jilly’s head made a pillow out of it. “Does she miss us?”
“I’m sure she does,” Jilly replied to him.
“Can you at least tell me what you are going to do with the chip?” Cayne turned his head to the side to see her face.
“I told you that I’m going to use it.”
“To bait them out?” She hummed in to respond with a small nod.
“Let’s go out,” Jilly requested.
“Right now?” She nodded. “In the middle of the night?” She nodded again. “Out of the house?” She finally turned to him and their nose touched showing how close they were.
