The investigation was not finished yet, so Kook couldn’t do anything. He needed to wait until the stupid investigation was done, that way he could bring her back home to The State. Kook also had to face Marco because his father asked him to permit him to see her.
Kook told him to come in the evening because then the DEA wouldn’t show up out of the blue. He was surprised when Greg suddenly visited Jilly. Nobody was telling him about what happened until Greg told him himself. Jilly was found shot in the chest at the suspected transaction site. So, they were investigating the gun which was close to her and literally next to her.
Kook hadn’t had the time to check on Cayne and his whereabouts. He was too worried about his sister to worry about someone else, not even his girlfriend.
