Those creatures saw us, it is only a matter of time before they come back for us, d**k will try and buy us time, now let's go to the second sanctuary" Sarah shouts at the top of our voice.
Many of the ninjas were seen helping the citizens to move, the time was 3am, just three hours had passed since d**k encountered them but it had felt like days. When all the refugees were finally assembled with the ninja squad standing at each side, Sarah then instructs about six ninjas to stay on the roof.
"Inform me if any of those fiends visit" Sarah orders in a low hushed voice.
"Now to the rest of you, let's go" Sarah says raising her voice.
Sarah moves toward, she was in haste with the refugees and some ninjas following her, all the ninjas were about fifteen in number, so Sarah had nine following her.
"d**k, pls be safe"
Sarah and her followers finally arrived at the basement, the place where d**k was earlier, she moved towards the pulpit, she kicks the altar away and in its place, was a lever which resembled a throttle, using a considerable amount of might, she pulls it and an underground gateway opens two metres from the pulprit, it had stairs going all the way down.
"Single file, everyone, Ninjas, help them get down into the basement" Sarah shouts still grasping the lever.
The ninjas began to help the refugees inside the opening.
"How about you, are you planning on sacrificing your life for us all" a voice calls from behind.
Sarah turns to look around, it was Mrs Hudson, her eyes were wet with tears.
"That's none of your business, you have to follow the rest of them, we don't know how much more time before the gargoyles show up" Sarah says with a tone of annoyance.
"I knew about Marcel and his crazy lab rats experiments" Mrs Hudson began still in tears.
"He captured my husband, told me if I ever want to see him again, I should lure d**k to him, I had to accept Joan as my driver as Marcel made me do, Joan and his goons then attacked my kids, they said they needed a night snack and they would kill me too."
She stops abruptly, wipes the tears of her face and continues
"d**k was all always there fighting off those things, he even helped me attain revenge, he killed the things which tortured my husband, he even rescued me and yet all I ever did was be mean to him" She wipes the tears off her face, she takes a confident stance
"That's why, I wanna fight alongside you and against those creatures for d**k's sake and....."
Sarah nods her head as if trying to signal a ninja who was close to Mrs Hudson, the ninja when he notices it gets the message, using a shotgun, he hits Mrs hudson with its hilt and knocks her out cold.
"Hope no one else wants to be optimus prime today" Sarah asks loudly. There was no reply.
"Just as I thought, now, move y'all" Sarah shouts loudly. There was a continuous movement, the ninja who knocked Mrs hudson out carried her on his shoulders and proceeds to follow the others.
Suddenly, there was a large cracking sound in the roof, over the place where the underground gateway was, Sarah looks up to observe, then the roof gives way and falls. Fortunately, everyone had already evacuated other than Sarah of course, she was holding the lever. It falls directly above the gateway point, there was a ninja on top of the fallen piece of the roof. He was bleeding profusely, Sarah quickly rushes over to his side, she pulls out his mask. He had major cuts all over his face.
"The Gargoyles are here..." He says and gave up the ghost. Sarah holds his hands and with tears in her eyes, she says
"Your death shall not be in vain".
With that, she rises up, she moves over to a box located at the chairs on the left side of the pulpit, she opens it and there were all sorts of weapons inside, she brings out a pair of black p99's
"s**t just got real" Sarah says with a smirk all over her face.
The ninjas on the roof were trying their best to hold off the gargoyles, even though they were now five against five, their silver ammunition don't do much damage apart from penetrating their skin which they later regenerated from in mere seconds. Just then, a gargoyle swoops down, grabs one of the ninjas by the neck, the gargoyle lifts him into the air, he then removed a blue coloured substance from his clothing, he hits it on the gargoyle, he falls, tumbling on the roof, the ninja braces himself for landing on the roof and he gets back up.
"The ultra-violet rays are their weakness" the ninja shouts aloud.
The remaining ninjas as if on cue switched to the blue coloured substance, with careful aiming, they aim for the gargoyles, soon all the gargoyles were thrown unconscious.
"We did it, we won" shouts the shortest of the five ninjas, the ninjas began to high five each other, fist bump and even shoulder high each other.
"They are even weaker than the were wolves" one jokes.
"Just a bunch of stones with wings" another says in midst of smiles. The five ninjas hugged each other, they were very excited.
"Marcel 0, Ninja Squad 1" one of them says. Just then, one of them was swooped at an alarming speed, the remaining four when they realised their friend was gone, broke their embrace, they looked above, the first gargoyle who had gone down earlier was high up in the sky. He had the ninja with him in the air, the gargoyle lifted the ninja, it was carrying him by the head with it's finger nails piercing his forehead.
"You mortals are so pathetic, rejoicing over every little victory" The gargoyle says aloud, before the gargoyle was seven feet tall, now there was an eight feet tall gargoyle who looked really deadly. As if on cue, the four other gargoyles rise in the air, two at the gargoyle holding the ninja captive's left side and the remaining at his right side.
"My brethren, we feast tonight" The gargoyle says aloud, Just then, a projectile hits the gargoyle carrying the ninja, the impact was very strong as a large exploding sound was heard, he drops the ninja, the ninja falls off but he was caught by the ninjas on the ground.
At that point, the police cars surrounding the buildings were noticed as blue and red lights began flashing everywhere, Eddie was holding an AT4 rocket launcher, smoke was emitting out of the hole.
"Not bad for a klutz" Tommy calls out
Eddie smiles, he brings a microphone out and says
"You have the right to remain silent..."
"Why are you telling creatures who has got rocks for brains their rights, they can't even fathom simple addition" Tommy cuts in smirking. He takes the microphone from Eddie, putting his mouth to it,
"Listen here, you disgusting blockheads, you are gonna be blown sky high into the air tonight, then I am gonna decorate the station with your remaining parts, but that's even too much prestige for y'all, you are just rocks anyway."
"You know for a moment there, I thought you were d**k but his lines are much better" a voice calls out, it was Sarah's, she was smiling. She was stepping out of the entrance of the buildings
"Well, I am a white man after all, disses ain't our thing" Tommy says smirking.
"How about we show these pitiful excuse for rocks that this city belongs to humans" Sarah says advancing.
"Finally, someone who speaks English" Tommy says grinning.
"By the way, I thought you were dead" Tommy adds
"You thought wrong, just like how you falsely thought were wolves don't exist" Sarah says sharply.
"Fair point but you owe me an explanation after we are done with block brains" Tommy says, the he taps Eddie violently
"ANOTHER ONE!" Tommy shouts
About five officers with a model of rocket launchers began to fire at the gargoyles, soon smoke fills the entire area and pieces of rocks began to rain down from the sky. It was a rain of stones. The cops had to take cover to avoid them.
"Good job, y'all" Tommy says patting Eddie's back in a friendly manner.
The smokes surrounding the area where the Gargoyles were once began to clear
"This is insulting" one of the gargoyles say, the smoke clears, tho the gargoyles were not as big as before, most of their bodies had been thoroughly damaged, but they were regenerating anyway. Then one of the gargoyles swoops down, grabs two police officers lifts them in the air, the two officers scream AAAAH!!, when it had ascended about eighteen feet in the air, he dropped them, they fell on police vehicles and with that, their frail bodies were smashed against the vehicle.
"Holy s**t" Tommy calls, "Everyone, FIRE!!". The rest of the police force took whatever weapons they had and began to fire at the gargoyles but they did almost no damage. The gargoyles would occasionally lift some of the officers from the ground, toss them to each other, bite off their head and drop their body, at first, it was just an attack strategy until later, they began to use it as some sort of sport. They killed many officers in the worst brutal way possible. Once two gargoyles lifts an officer from the ground by his shoulders, when they had ascended about eighteen feet in the air, the gargoyles began to fly in the opposite direction till he was ripped in two. Tommy looked at all the horror going on before his eyes, he was in tears, he was about to scream something out when a hand constrained him, it was Sarah.
"I have a plan, trust me" She says, Tommy looks at her and nods his head.
"Hey ugly" Sarah says climbing a police vehicle and speaking into a microphone which she was holding with her right hand.
"Why don't you come down and fight me on the ground instead of flying in the air like some blind bats" Sarah says, she drops the microphone on the ground, folds her sleeves upward. A gargoyle swoops down on the ground, he lands on a police vehicle which he flattens to the ground with incredible strength.
"Come on, stone head" Sarah says as she dashes at him, she punches him on the chest.
"OUCH!" she screams, The gargoyle shoots out a pitiful look at her and grabs her hand, he stretches his other and when it seemed like he wanted to hit it on her skull, Marcel comes in between, holds the arm, breaks it and with amazing force, he punches the gargoyle's head and the bits splatters all over the ground.
"You forget your place, you vermin" Marcel says now directly in front of Sarah.
"Who's that" Tommy asks "He looks like Frankenstein did his make up" Tommy adds.
With extraordinary speed, Marcel dashes for Tommy, he holds him by the neck and lifts him inches above the ground.
"You know, you remind me of d**k, he was making wise cracks till I killed him slowly and in the worst way possible" Marcel says with a murderous look at Tommy.
"I know d**k, he would never lose to the likes of you" Sarah says with a fearful expression.
Marcel turns, the scar on his face made him look like two face, his face was irritating by every standards, and it was a shame, he was once very handsome.
"He was screaming like a b***h, as I ripped his balls out, I took out his oesophagus and broke every f*****g single one of his bones, he should be honored, he was just a pathetic n***o" Marcel says with a red glint in his eyes.
"Heeeeey, didn't we do that" calls one of the gargoyles who was flying over head.
"Quiet, Insect, I am the boss around here" Marcel shouts, "now y'all are my next guinea pigs." Marcel drops Tommy to the ground, he points to Antonio who was who was approaching from a dark corner.
"Take these pitiable weaklings to the lab, we are getting a new army tonight, take the gargoyles with you."
With that, Marcel turns , with an evil smirk in his face.
"I shall rule this city."
