I couldn't process the fact that River Trey, the River Trey, just told me he was a vampire. I just stared at his eyes trying to read his face. I honestly didn't know if this was some kind of sick joke. So, I did what any girl would do in my shoes.. I laughed. River turned his head sideways and his sexy side smile slowly disappeared. " Seriously?!? hahahaha you honestly think i am going to believe this crap?" " You are kidding right?" " You have a stigmatism, right? that would explain some of why your eyes do that... right?..... right?" then I looked up. River was no longer smiling, he looked beastly. His eyes had went from the most beautiful green to black to red. His handsome face had purple veins running from his eyes to his cheeks. He was just staring at me, still having my arms pinned above my head and his leg between mine, he looked me up and down. I tried to speak but I couldn't find words. He whispered to me " Do not move. Please. Don't say a word, be very still." I honestly didn't have a choice, his strength was overpowering every part of me, even the secret parts. He leaned in close to my neck and inhaled. He held on to my arms in one hand and let go with the other. He hand roamed down my hair, to my neck, and then to my chest. He laid his hand over my heart. And like magic his face turned back to it's beautiful form once again. River looked at his hand and back to my face and said " You aren't afraid." I couldn't say anything. I didn't know what the feeling i had in my gut was but it wasn't fear. He said " You have no idea how hard it's been watching you, night after night. Waiting 484 years to finally find my love. You are so beautiful Eli. Stay with me, be mine forever." His lips crashed into mine with such passion, I didn't know that existed. His tongue explored my mouth, and I could feel a certain sensation inside of me. I didn't struggle, I didn't fight, I wanted him. Bad. I was finally able to free one of my arms from his grasp and I ran my fingers through his hair. He let go of the my arm and instead trapped my legs around his waist. He lifted me with such ease. His hands firmly grabbed my a** and explored my thighs. I was lost in the moment until his hands moved to my panties. I had to stop this now. I wasn't this girl. Giving my most special part of myself to a man that didn't act like I existed until yesterday. I pulled away from his kisses and said " Whoa, whoa, whoa, okay okay okay.... River walked slowly towards me until he was inches away from my face, his fingers stroked my cheek, and he said " And what would that be, Princess?" I breathed heavily " Please put on a fu*king shirt". He giggled "No chance. But please accept my offer. You will never want for anything ever again. You will always be loved and No one will ever hurt you again." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little gold box with beautiful swirls of metals and jewels. River opened the box. Inside was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. It looked familiar to me for some reason. It was white gold with a princess cut black Onyx stone in the middle, with Rubies on both sides. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I looked into his eyes and I saw nothing but honesty. I knew this was different. I knew in that moment River Trey loved me. I looked back down at the ring and said " I accept."
