Episode 16

YOUR POV

My alarm rang again , as if it's saying 'it's another new day , wake up !' . I stood up , welcoming a new day of hell . My whole wrist was numb due to the cuts and my brother grabbing it . I cleaned myself up and changed into something casual since I don't have the mood . I changed into this a white tshirt with denim jacket and long blue denim jeans with a black cap and black shoes. I went downstairs , expecting the house to be quiet but who knows I saw my brother downstairs , looking drunk . I quickly went to the kitchen and cook him his breakfast . Once I'm done , I'm ready to leave until my brother shouted my name , making me stop moving . 

"Yoona!!" 

I turned around slowly . I didn't see my brother coming towards me , instead he just lie down on the sofa , staying still . He looked like he's having a nightmare . He turned his head left and right , still closing his eyes . 

"Mum , dad ! No ! Don't leave me !" 

He's dreaming about Mum and dad ? 

"No!!!!" With that he sat up , his forehead sweating , keep blinking his eyes and looked around until he saw me . Once his eyes landed on mine , he looked mad . 

"What are you doing here ? Go to school b***h !" He shouted at me . I quickly scurried out of the house and ran to school .

SKIPS TO LUNCHTIME 

As always , school is hell . The classes are boring , people whispering , not even trying to hide the fact that they are whispering about me . I went to the cafeteria to grab something to eat since I've didn't eaten for days again . I'm getting skinnier and skinnier everyday sigh. Before I step in the cafeteria , I heard loud cheering . I stood outside of the door and peek . I saw bts and hyunnie's gang sharing a table , eating together and ....... hyunnie eating jimin's face out while sitting in his lap and rest of bts members and hyunnie's gang cheering . 'I thought they knew we are dating now ? Why are they cheering for them? I thought I'm jimin's girlfriend ?' The more I think the more tears stream down my face and didn't notice that the cafeteria was silence . I snapped out of my thoughts and saw the whole cafeteria was looking at me . Some had a guilty look , some snickering and hyunnie and her gang smirking . I saw some of bts members held a guilty face and a painful expressions , some just put on a blank face and jimin ...... he looked confused . Once his eyes met mine he quickly look away and kiss hyunnie making her smile . I ran away from the cafeteria and went to the toilet . I locked myself in a toilet and kept crying . I kept crying until I heard someone opening the door , entering . I quickly keep my mouth shut , not wanting any sobs to leave my mouth . I heard lots of footsteps so I guess there's few girls . They started talking and I heard my name . I went closer and stick my ear to the door , hoping to listen what they are saying . 

"Did you look at her face just now ? She's crying ! I don't know why , I kinda felt bad for her ." One of the girls said . 

"Yea especially since she doesn't know that she's just a BET !" Another girl said.

Bet ? What bet ? Im a bet ? 

"I heard from hyunnie that bts dared jimin to date Yoona for one month and break up with her on his birthday ! If he manage to do it , they'll be his slave for a week and each person have to pay him 100 dollars ! "

My heart broken listening to what the girls said . I'm a bet . He dated me just because his hyungs dares him to . He dated me so he can earn 100 from each person in bts . He dated me so that his hyungs will be his slave for a week . Everything made sense now and my heart was broken , to the type where it can never be healed anymore . Once they leave I let out loud sobs . Crying over how my life is so miserable , all these years of bullying and most importantly , I'm just a bet . After hours of crying , school finally ended , that means I don't have to see jimin or any of them anymore . I went to the mirror and check myself , only to see a fragile , broken girl who haves dark circles , some wrinkles and lots of bruises and cuts . I smile sadly , thinking how bad life is but I still have to deal with it . I went out and put my stuff in the locker and was ready to leave until someone called my name . That voice , is very familiar , that voice used to belong to whom I loved the most and still love the most right now . Park jimin . I turned around and saw jimin running towards my direction while waving . Once he reach infront of me , his hand resting on his lap , body bending front , trying to take a deep breath , still panting . Once he's done , he look up and asked me if I could go with him to a cafe after school . I hesitantly nodded and we started walking to the cafe .

JIMIN'S POV 

I was just having fun with bts , talking and laughing until hyunnie and her gang came and sat with us . I didn't mind at all neither did namjoon hyung . But the rest of the members look hesitant but at last allow them to sit with us . We move a little so they have space . All of them sat down on the chair except hyunnie . She sat on my lap ? "Ooooohhhh" I heard noises coming from namjoon hyung . It was only him making this noises and he glare at the rest of the members and soon the whole cafeteria was filled with cheering coming from us , rest of bts specifically . They were cheering and I was blushing . Suddenly hyunnie kissed me sloppily . And of course I kissed back . When we were kissing the cheerings became louder then suddenly it became quiet . I stop kissing hyunnie and look around . I saw Yoona standing at the door , with tears streaming down her face . This was the first time I saw her crying ? (Idk izit the first time? Or second ?) once her eyes met mine I quickly turned around and kiss hyunnie and saw Yoona leaving from the corner of my eyes . Once she left I pulled away from the kiss and wiped my lips . I was thinking hard while hyunnie was trying hard to seduce me . I regretted instantly after doing this . 'Why did I do this to her ? She's innocent , she didn't do anything to me ! Ughhhh I don't know man , let's just ask if she wanna hangout after school'

After lunch , I never see Yoona anymore . I wanted to just go back home until I saw a shadow coming out from the girls toilet . She looked like Yoona . It is Yoona ! I shouted her name and ran towards her waving . She turned around slowly . I looked carefully at her face , only to see that her eyes were red and there are still some dry stains of tears on her face . 'She must be crying for hours' I felt bad and asked if she want to go to a cafe with me . She nodded hesitantly . We started walking to the cafe .

YOUR POV 

Once we reached the cafe , we ordered our drinks and went and sit at a corner . It was awkward , nobody made the first move to start a topic . 

"Yoona"

"Jimin"

We both says at the same time . 

"Uh you go first" jimin said . 

"Erm , when's your birthday?" I asked 

"It's October 13 , why ?" 

"Oh I was just wondering , if you want  any thing for your birthday ?" 

"Oh no it's fine you don't have to buy me anything ......."

"Uhhhh ...... ok?" I said but knowing that I'll definitely buy a present for him since it's our "farewell gift" . 

"What did you want to say again ?" I asked , changing the topic since he didn't reply . 

"Oh ya , I just wanted to explain about what happened this afternoon ...."

I felt my heart squeezed a little . My ear trying to block out all the things he's going to say but my heart wished he will explain the misunderstanding even though I already knew the truth . 

"S-sure , go on "

"Uh ummm , there's nothing between me and hyunnie ! She just came over and sat on my lap and started to kiss me a-and I didn't push her away was because I was too shocked and I didn't snap out of my thoughts yet ! I-I was traumatise ! There's really nothing between us !" He said , lying . 

'But I saw you kissing back her .....'

"Oh , ok ....." I said , hesitating whether to trust him or not . 

"B-by the way , do you want to go to the cinema and watch a movie together Tomorrow night ?" He asked 

"Uh ....... 'my brother would definitely kill me but I couldn't reject his jimin's offer right ?' " and before I could reply , jimin's phone rang . I glance at the caller ID and saw 'Babe❤️' . He quickly pick up the phone , not wanting me to see the caller ID but too bad ..... I saw . 

'Is he cheating on me ? With who ? Why ? Oh wait , I'm just a bet' I mentally smiled sadly .  After he's done calling , he looked back at me , waiting for my reply . 

"Sooo?"

"Uhhh, sure"

"Cool , I'll meet you tomorrow at the cinema , 7pm?" 

"Okay " and with that he left . 

'Haiz , let's just enjoy these last few weeks of us being together . And after his birthday , it's time for me to wake up and back to reality .' I walked out of the cafe and back to home . While I was walking pass this store , I saw this beautiful watch that is blue strap and gold at the middle . I saw that it is a touchscreen watch . 'Jimin birthday is coming , I should get this watch as his birthday present and as our 'farewell' gift .' I saw the price and my jaw dropped . It was $500 (ard Rm1935 and yes I'm Malaysian) I don't even have that much money ! I should find a job to get him this gift . I decided to walk around to see if there is a job vacant available . I walked around and saw the bar needed a waitress . I was hesistant to go in because it's a bar , there will be lots of drunkards but once I saw the salary they gave , which is $70 per day , I quickly made a calculation . 'I left 17 more days until jimin birthday , if I work for 17 days here , I'll earn around $1190 , I'll have enough money to buy jimin the watch and extra stuff . What do he needs the most ? ....... a laptop !! A laptop is around $700 . I have some money left at home so I could use that to buy him a watch and a laptop !' After the Long calculation , I went in the bar and applied for the job . I mean they pay a decent amount of salary and I'm just working here for less than 3 weeks , nothing bad will happen right ? The boss hired me and told me to start working tomorrow . This is my working time . 

Monday to Friday : 4pm-11pm

Sat & Sun : 10am-7pm 

I have to work 9 hours everyday and since school ends at 3:30pm , I have half an hour to be ready , eat and rest then start working for 9 hours straight . 'Haiz , anything for jimin ' I thought , smiling sadly . I walked back home and saw two pairs of shoes infront of the door . 'Don't tell me ......' I opened the door only to be welcome by two pairs of cold eyes . "Oh hello Yoona " 'She' said spatting my name . 

"Miss 'Us'?" 'She' asked and smiled evilly .
