(Jessie’s POV) After Kraig and I went back inside, I made him wait by the office door so I could grab a box. When I came back out, I said, “We need to pack up all the loose items in the cells and on the table. We also need to get Nate down from his hook. I’m tired of his lazy a** just hanging around doin’ nothin’.” Kraig actually chuckled a little at that, though he tried not to. We walked over to where Nate was and as we passed the chair that I kept using, I motioned for him to grab it. When I got in front of Nate, I tapped his cheek to wake him. Once he opened his eyes, I said, “Well, Nate. My partner seems to think you deserve a chance to make amends for your past actions. Personally, I think we should just kill you and be done with it.
