(Jessie’s POV) The next day came and went, with Nick spending as much time with me as he could. He was always very cautious, but at least he was there. He would bring me cups of “food” but I kept turning them down. “Yah know, kiddo. Starvation is an awful way to go. You need to eat so those wounds will finish healing up.
