(Mason’s POV)
I thought my comeback was kind of funny, Kraig did too, but all I got from Jessie was a cold stare. Wolfie chuckled but I wasn’t sure if it was because of what I said or Jessie’s reaction to it.
“Sooo, nothin’ important then. Got it. And the answer is no.” She turned back around and started to put the laptop away when I said, “Hold on, Jess. He really is my computer geek. He’s a friend we met after we went on the run. He’s been helping us.”
