Ch. 104: Traitor

2767 Words

(Jessie’s POV) I was slowly coming awake and my head was pounding something awful. I felt like I had a freight train running in circles in my head. As a result, I couldn’t hear much and was extremely disoriented. Though not disoriented enough to not recognize the fact that I wasn’t lying in my bed. It was all I could do to stifle the groan of pain that was threatening to escape my lips as I tried to reorient myself. I didn’t need to move to know I was bound with my arms above my head because my wrists and shoulders were killin’ me. There was also a slight burning sensation around my wrists that was profoundly irritating. I’m guessing that means whatever I was bound with had silver on it. From the acoustics here I’d say I’m in some large, open area but still indoors and out of sight.
