“ The dinning hall is that way.” A deep voice rang from behind and I turned my head, startled by the sudden intrusion.

Behind me stood a man. Tall and huge, with a face close to perfection.

His long black hair fall on his face and his eyes ran over me, making me feel watched and exposed.

“ What is going on here?” A muscular cold voice dropped from the side and I spun around.

My eyes met with a mysterious blue eyes. My stomach twisted painfully. My eyes stuck on him like they had to be there.

That misr be him. Alpha Lucien Grey!

” I was just telling the guest where the dinning hall is.” The first man said and the second man shifted his gaze to me as if he was just noticing me.

His eyes felt like the cold before the storm. Icey, calculating, piercing and at the same time calm.

I immediately looked down unable to hold his gaze.” She is not a guest.” His voice was calm, cold and scolding.” She is my mate.” His tone held zero affaction as if the word mate didn't mean anything to him. “Whatever you chose to call her.” The first man raised both his hands up in the air and walked past me with a smug exression.” I will be at the dinning table.” Before he left he casted me a cold glare that made my body froze.

I didn't know how long a stood there but his cold heavy voice jotted me awake and I looked up at him immediately.

“ Breakfast is served.” He turned to leave but stopped after two steps.

” You are bare footed.” Saying this he turned back and swept me off my feet in his arms, in a bridal style.

Shocked. My eyes widened and my heart started beating faster in my chest.

Wasn't he supposed to be a monster? I didn't know how I felt but the truth was I was scared to death.

He let me down when we got to the dinning and pulled a chair for me.

With a flashed face and a racing heart I sat down next to him, Alpha Lucien. My mate and the monster that was going to end my life.

“ I'm Inn.” The first man suddenly said and I looked up at him.” Lucien's brother.” He added but that didn't do anything to calm my racing heart. If anything it made it worse.

Nobody told me Alpha Lucien has a brother who could also be a monster like him.” I get that you are scared but don't worry, I don't bit.” He said teasingly but I couldn't bring myself to look any different from what I look now.

“ You will survive me if you get to survive him.” He said, his gaze pointed to my side. Lucien, his brotner.

“ I know what you are thinking.” Inn said as he shoved a spoon full of food I to his mouth.

“ He doesn't look like a monster, does he?” he asked but I didn't reply.

He was right, he didn't look a monster. He was unfairly good looking. Notni g like the monster the world believed he was.

“ Well, your food is getting cold.” Inn's voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I swallowed, nothing in my mouth actually.

They looked a bit alike.

My eyes returned back to Lucien like they belonged there and he was eating his breakfast.

He was the devil who has already devoured four innocent females!

My face paled. He didn't look anything like the beast they talked about but I couldn't stop myself from being terrified especially at his present.

“ You haven't told us anything about yourself.” Inn pointed out and I turned my eyes away from Lucien.” My name is Anastasia, Ann for short and I'm eighteen years.” I swallowed.” Anastasia.” Inn whispered as if testing my name on his togue.

“ So why did you agree to this marriage?” Inn suddenly asked and I froze.

” Do you have a death wish or you are another female sold out for power.” Inn sounded as if I have reached my finally destination. Something I already knew but it still felt new and terrifying.

My chest tightened, tears pooled up in my eyes. That was it, so this was how I was going to die?

“ Are you okay?” Inn asked, looking up at me with those eyes that were far from soft.

My throat feeling too tight to alter a word. I nodded my head.

I didn't think I was going to meet him like this. I agree to marry him but I didn't think about all this.

I suddenly lost my appetite, not when I have already met alpha Lucien and sitting on the same table with him.

It seemed my life was already decided before I existed and therefore there was nothing to do about it.

“ I'm sure you have heard everything you need to know about Lucien.” Inn added and I looked up, my hand squeezed around the fork in my hand.

I was practically shaking in my seat. I knew about the devil he was before I stepped into this pack but I couldn't help being scared.

I tried my best to not show my fear even though I was more than terrified. It seems I had nowhere safe to be.

“ Enough Inn.” Lucien cut him off.” I have pack business to handle.” His eyes slowly moved to me and I looked down immediately.

“ Get more rest and call the omegas if you need anything.” He got up from his seat and left.

Feeling Inn's gaze on me. I dropped my fork and was about to leave the table when he grabbed my hand.

“ My brother and I share everything, Ann. I just thought to let you know.” He let go of my hand and walked away.

My eyes followed behind him in shock. What did he mean by that?
