“What would you like to have, sir?” Kathlyn asked. ‘You’ Adam almost replied but he bit his tongue to stop the flow of his words. He did not want to chase her away again. He was concerned about the last time and bothered about it for days. He did not want do anything which would make her drift away now.

“Water will be just fine.” She nodded and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water for him. Adam down it in one gulp and dropped the glass on the table. She made to go inside again when he called her back. “You can sit and get some rest, Kathlyn. You have been working the entire day. Do not let me bother you further” He said in a soft voice.

She offered him a tight lipped smile and sat on the chair adjacent his, conscious of his eyes on her. They fell into an awkward silence which made Kathlyn nervous.

“I..”

“You…” They said simultaneously. Adam chuckled softly and pointed at her. “Go first.”

“I was worried about you” She admitted twisting her fingers. Adam’s eyebrows lifted in surprise before falling.

“Wow! That is a pleasant surprise” He admitted. She nodded meekly and met his eyes.

“Why did you stay away for so long? I don’t know if I should ask you this but I can’t help it.”

“I stayed away to clear my head.”

“Of what?”

“Of you.” He admitted. Her head whipped in his direction and she stared at him in shock. Her mouth opened and closed as she searched for the appropriate words to say but she found nothing. Adam watched her in amusement.

He had not intended to come off so strongly to her but what better time was there than the present? He had been keeping these thoughts a secret in his head. It was time to let them out.

“What?” She asked in a small whisper. Adam rose up from his seat and walked closer to her, damning the consequences of his actions. She sat rooted on her seat, unable to move or do anything but stare at him. He ceased the opportunity to move closer to her and stare her in the eyes.

“I needed to clear my head of you, Kathlyn” He repeated. She swallowed and pushed her hair behind her ear. Her body suddenly felt hot. She wanted to run away from him but Adam had her trapped on the seat with his hands.

“You are my boss” She said in a small whisper in an attempt to deter him.

“I will stop if you want me to” He said. He had no idea where this boldness was coming from but he liked it. He watched her, half expecting her to push him away and half expecting her to pull him in. She licked her upper lip which suddenly felt dry from tension and closed her eyes.

Taking it as an invitation, Adam moved his head closer till he was inches away from her. Her lips parted invitingly. Sparks of excitement went off in his head at the action. He placed his right hand on the back of her head while circling her waist with the other. He pulled her closer to himself and gently helped her to her feet.

Kathlyn felt like she could barely stand. She sucked on her bottom lip. Adam gently ran his hand over it to get her to release it. She shivered lightly at his touch and inhaled sharply.

“Adam” She called.

“Do you want me to stop?” He asked breathily against her ear. She gave no response but inched her body closer to his. Taking the memo, Adam grabbed her waist tightly and planted his lips on hers. He waited to see her reaction, afraid that she might push him away.

She moaned softly in response to his action gearing him on. Adam sucked on her bottom lip for a while before moving to her upper lip. Kathlyn responded gently, afraid that she would mess everything up but grateful that he was leading. She let herself go and completely immersed herself in the kiss.

Adam parted her lips gently with his tongue causing another moan to escape her lips. Her breathing was becoming uneven and she was afraid she would not be able to stand for long anymore. She broke apart from the kiss and stared at Adam. His cheeks were flushed and his lips were a bit swollen from the kiss. Worry shot through her and she gently rubbed her finger on his lip.

“Are you hurt?” She asked concerned. Adam chuckled softly.

“I am not.” She licked her lip and nodded while bouncing gently on her feet.

“Do you want to go upstairs?” She probed. Adam could not hide his surprise but if this was what she wanted, he would give it to her. Besides, he had promised her that he would not touch her till she demanded it. He nodded. She interlocked their fingers and led him up the stairs after her.

Her heart was thumping in her chest. She was excited, nervous and anxious at the same time. She felt willing tonight. She felt willing to give Adam all of her tonight. She did not know why she felt this nervous though. Perhaps, because it was her first time? She led him into the room and locked the door behind her. Adam looked around the room, feeling impressed at how she managed to organize her stuff into a small space.

“I will be back in a few. I want to use the bathroom” She informed. Adam nodded in understanding. She walked into the bathroom and sucked in a deep breath. She was a wreck of nerves and she wanted to calm it. “Calm down, Kathlyn. He finds you attractive. He would not be here otherwise” She repeated. She walked back and forth in the bathroom, trying to calm herself down.

The more she tried, the more nervous she got. Realizing that it was fruitless, she sat on the toilet seat and ran a hand through her hair. She felt like crying but she had no idea why. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that she was about having s*x with the only man she had ever imagined it happening with yet she had no idea about what to do.

“I should wash up” She said standing up from the seat. She stripped out of her clothes, stared at herself in the mirror and took deep calming breaths. She turned on the shower and let the water calm her nerves.

She felt better when she was done having a shower. She looked around the bathroom thinking about what to wear out since she forgot to bring any of her clothes. “He has seen you naked before, Kathlyn. Just go out” She mumbled. The idea sounded great in her head.

She walked to the bathroom door, sucked in a deep breath and walked out without any clothes covering her body. Adam sat up quickly as soon as she made her way out of the bathroom. His breathing became labored as he stared at her clear skin. She walked slowly but purposefully towards him, drawing strength from the look of admiration on his face.

She got closer to him and maintained eye contact for a few seconds before her confidence collapsed. Seeing that she had lost strength, Adam grabbed her with both hands and gently placed her on the bed. He struggled to regulate his breathing but Kathlyn’s hot breath on his neck caused a strain in his trouser.

She was beautiful. She was more beautiful than the last time he saw her. She had her hair down causing her to look heavenly. He placed a soft kiss on the croon of her neck causing a moan to escape her lips. He traced her lips with his thumb and shivered lightly when he felt another stir in his groin.

“Kathlyn, you are perfect” He whispered. She shivered beneath him and moaned softly. He sucked gently on her neck, focusing on her pleasure point, the sounds of her moans urging him on. He slowly kissed his way down to her chest and stopped to stare at her breast.
