Episode 8 - Stick like a Glue

Angel POV

"Beno aren't you busy with your life? How many girls you pester everyday?"

"Ouch, you know what? Your face is so innocent but your tongue is sharper than a knife"

"You're so talkative, it's almost semester end and everyone is busy for final exam or final project, but here you are pestering me"

"You didn't text me, you didn't bother to inform me your whereabouts, if you'll continue doing that I'll end up pestering you everyday"

"Why should I tell my whereabouts? Are you my father?"

I raised my eyebrow in confusion, he's getting on my nerves everytime. He guide me on his car, even clueless where to go, I just follow him.

"Is it hard to text me or inform me that you'll be out in the house?" He looks serious, he start driving.

"I don't think you should know everything about me"

"I am the boss, and I want you to text me if you're going out ,where you are or what you're doing."

I didn't mind him, I just look at the road. I know that he's glancing at me. He is really pain in the ass. I have no plan following him. My old model phone start ringing, my classmate is calling me again, he is a jerk like this man beside me. Men is all the same they are nice because they have a motive, I already know this kind of tactics, I encounter a lot of men who is very nice because they want your body, they will buy you things in exchange of your body and they will say it is for love. Love is dangerous.

"Yes hello?"

"Angel are you already home? Can we continue doing our project, lets videocall"

"Not yet, no need to videocall, Ill finish our report, just review the paper I gave"

"If you need help, just call me, I can go to your house anytime."

"Okay bye"

"Wait wait Angel, can I visit you in your house? Or can we go out ? A friendly date"

Psh. In our classroom, I feel awkward the whole lecture because I feel him staring at me all the time. He always invite me to eat, he always ask my number and he always says he is the son of the mayor. Before I able to answer, there is a hand snatch my phone and throw it in the sidewalk.

I look at him, shock to what he did. I work hard to buy that second hand cellphone and here he is just throw it like that.

"Stop talking to other man, I am with you, have a little respect to me"

I don't know how to suppress my anger anymore, I am very pissed.

"BENO!!!!!"

"What? Don't startle me I am driving, and I didn't know that you're hotter when you're mad hahahaha. I like it"

"How could you do that? Maybe for you that's nothing, but it's important to me. You know that I can't afford any luxury things like you do, have a little sensitivity please"

I am mad. I need my contacts, that is important, I applied for part time jobs, what if they call me, how can they reach me now. Just because of his immaturity my well plan life is now ruin.

I already plan to look for a part time job, then I'll stay in a dormitory so I can avoid Beno, and I can focus in my study. He is getting close to me and that's not good, sometimes the more people you know the more bullshit you'll encounter. And sometimes its better to be alone than to deal with temporary happiness. I am drowning in my thoughts that I didn't notice that the car stops and he go out in the car, after a minute he gave back my broken cellphone.

"I am sorry my Angel"

I try to open the cellphone and luckily it still works eventhough the screen is slightly broken.

"Beno, you are rich. If I am rich I'll never get bored, I'll go shopping, waste my time exploring the world, discover my talents and enjoy my lucky life"

He look at me and smile, after a minute of staring at me he starts driving.

"Then be with me, and let's do that together"

"You never get tired pursuing me to your dirty game huh?"

He laugh hard and hold my hand while eyes on the road.

"Seriously I am sorry about your phone, I'll buy you a new one tomorrow. I just got pissed because of your classmate, the mayors son. Obviously he likes you, don't fall on his trap okay?? That kind of man should be avoided"

"So I should avoid you too. Noted Sir Beno. And no need to buy me phone, I don't accept things to anyone"

He laugh with my response and after a second of silence, he starts singing.

I laughed hard in the way he sings, now I believe that God wouldn't give everything to you.

Because i like the song, I continue to sing the song.

"Angel, you have a great voice, I think your version is better than original"

I love singing, since I was young I am alone, crying alone, thinking alone and dreaming alone. Music calms me, and sometimes music is the word my mouth can't utter.

"Beno I go inside the house first so no one can notice that we are together okay?"

"That's alright, let's go together, we are studying in the same school i'll just say that I saw you on my way home"

BENO POV

I go straight in my room and look at the profile of that son of the mayor, who is hitting on Angel.

I heard a lot of rumor about him before, I just don't care about him that I didn't mind all the rumors. I waste my time taking down notes on all the trouble he makes. One of the major trouble is the attempted r**e case. After that, I immediately called Angel number.

"The number you have dialed is either unattended or out of coverage area. Please try your call later"

Damn. Don't tell me she is out again. I stand out of my bed and look around the house. It's 7pm and I am hungry too.

I saw her writing in the corner of the garden, she looks serious. This is the first time I encounter a woman like her, she's not materialistic, she's mature, she's strong, she's smart and her heart is pure and fragile.

I turn back to go in the kitchen, I prepare a chicken sandwich and a glass of my favorite lemonade juice.

"Chicken sandwich for you, tomorrow is weekend and you're very busy writing, what a boring life you have Angel the innocent" i tease her

I sit beside her and look at what she's doing. She didn't mind me and continue to what she's doing. Books scattered on the table.

"Angel, nextweek is semester end, what's your plan? Are you going in a vacation?"

"No, I'll be a slave worker in this mansion and if I got hired for part time jobs. "

"You applied for a part time jobs without telling it to me?"

There she goes annoyed again hehehe, she looks at me angrily. Mission success I turned her attention to me hehehehe. My mind is laughing with me. She is really pretty, her wavy long hair is bouncing as she turns her head. Her oversized shirt complement her sexy body and she's wearing a short that expose her white long legs.

"Sir, are you here to pester me again? Go away please?'

"What? You're asking me to go away in my own house? "

"Then, I'll be the one to leave"

"Hey I'm just joking. Sit and eat first then I'll help you so no need to ask for the son of the mayor help. "

She sit and grab one of the plate I prepared.

"Beno, you really live like a prince. You should put a mayonaisse in the chicken sandwich not peanut butter. I don't think this sandwich of yours is edible, peanut and cucumber with lettuce and tomato seriously?"

"Really? I thought butter is for sandwich, hahahaha then prepare another one for us, I'll wait you here, I am starving"

She stand and make her way to the kitchen, I pick her notebook and look at her notes.

"Someday, I'll be what I want to be, I strive no matter what happens, someday I'll live peacefully with my Mom"

She's taking too long that I follow her in the kitchen, she looks sleepy while preparing a sandwich. I hug her in the back and kiss her neck.

"Sir, stop. What are you doing? I thought I make myself clear that I don't want to play with you?"

I didn't response and continue kissing her, licking her earlobes and grinding my body against her back.

"Beno, someone will see us, I don't want a trouble please"

A little moan escape on her, she is now arouse by my touch, her innocence is arousing me, my hands is roaming around her body that make her body cringe to every touch I make.

"Angel, I really want you."

"Beno please"

"Okay, next time you're the one who kiss me and asking for my body then I'll decline you. Remember that"

I sit and wait for her chicken sandwich. We ate together while teasing each other. I realize that bonding without touching feels good too.

"Angel, be careful with the mayors son, he is a total jerk, here, I jot down all the trouble he makes and take note that there is attempted r**e"

"What an effort Beno, no need to do that, I really have no plans entertaining boys, even if he is a saint, I'll still ignore him"

"Good girl, let's watch a movie tomorrow?"

"I am busy, I have to go in an internet cafe to type and to research"

"Why should you go to an internet cafe? I have a laptop and we have an internet here, take my laptop with you and finish it tonight then let's stroll tomorrow, watch a movie and eat to somewhere nice"

"Is this your new tactics to pursue me Beno?"

"Ouch, you're doubting my pure intention, I just want you to loose a bit in your life and be happy, don't worry you'll be the one to surrender yourself to me hehehehe"

After we ate, I help her to bring her things in their room, Nanny Lydia is sleeping already. I hand her my laptop , and go back to my room. It's 10pm and my phone keeps ringing. Sab is calling me.

I don't know why but I am not interested to bar hopping anymore. I open my wardrobe and look for something nice to wear tomorrow. I search in my desktop for a good place to go. I plan what we will do tomorrow and I sleep peacefully excited for our bonding.

I am putting my stressed out in writing,  life is hard these days, it's so dangerous to go out due to Covid and if you didn't go out to work you'll die in starving. Keep safe everyone please.
