“ What's wrong baby? Don't you like the food? You don't seem to enjoy it yet what I have cooked for you is your favourite,” Linda said.
“ No, of course I love the food. It's not about the food,” Jeremy was quick to clarify what was going on. The last thing that he wanted was to hurt her further, she honestly did not deserve it.
“ Then what is it my dear? You don't seem fine. What is bothering you?” Linda asked and this was Jetemy's moment to come clean.
He looked up and his eyes met hers. He saw how much her eyes lit up when she looked at him and he quickly realised that he could not do it. He could not burst her bubble. He needed to get himself together and sort this situation out before it gets out of hand.
