Jeremy was so happy as they walked to the nearby coffee shop. He reached for her hand but Natalie quickly pulled away. First and foremost, she was not supposed to be seen with him, let alone allow him to hold her hand.
What if Elijah shows up right now? How will she be able to explain to him what was going on between the two of them? She was walking in eggshells hoping that she was not going to be found. She hoped that no one would see them together.
Natalie took a seat at the corner where no one could see them easily and Jeremy joined her. She couldn't imagine that what started as a solo date would be a reunion between her and Jeremy.
This was not the right time to be around him, she had chosen to forget all about him because it was the right thing to do.
