My phone has been off since yesterday, I don't know if I have emails from work or what, I did say my aunt wanted me to get a "proper" job right? Not this cooking s**t, her words not mine, anyway I work at Mahlangulogistics, it's one of their many, many companies, this family is filthy fucken rich I tell you.

Anyway as I was saying, I'm kagisos' PA I've been working for him for six months now so because of this tragedy I took two weeks off, obviously kagiso took it took, but I'm shocked when Ma'Bee came yelling in my room saying Kagios wants be in the office, so now here I'm in a taxi with the Monday morning traffic I'm twenty minutes late,I switched my phone on, only to find that he has been blowing up my phone and I can't bring myself to answer them.

After ten minutes the traffic cleared.

Messy hair, sweat plus puffy eyes, I look like a wreak when I got to the office, everyone was looking at me like I'm crazy, yeah well try leaving my life for a sec and you'll understand why I look like this, if anything I feel more shittier than I look..

"Where the hell have you been?"

Aaah, he doesn't even greet, "sorry, rough morning"

he hates the "traffic" excuse, Maybe he'll be easy on me considering that I just lost my sist-

"yeah well we all have shitty mornings but yet we still make it on time, here " he gave me a set of keys ,I looked at them inquisitively

"my apartment keys on the next floor, clean up we have an important documents we need to go through and find something better to wear " and he left...

Yeah, when God created asseholes he didn't leave him out I tell you, I wonder how my sister coped with him because I could never, I hate being ordered around but I'll have to suck it out because this is my job and I need it,I just need to prove to aunt that I'm worth more than being an assistant.if I didn't know better I'd say she doesn't want to give me my right, but I don't know better right?

When the elevator opened and I stepped into the fortress I couldn't believe my eyes, it was haven . I totally won't mind being couped up in here the whole day, no. Make it a week. The wooden floors and the charcoal leather couches accentuate nicely with the grey walls and dark pictures, especially the portrait right on top of the fire place.when I walked to the kitchen the wooden floors continued, marble counter tops and black and grey carbods and a wooden wine cellar. I slowly ran my hands over the collection. A vintage wine cellar. n****r sure got taste.

When you walked passed the passage there is a collection of books, the shelves is a structured like the African map. Books are nicely laid by their genres . The first door on the right is the bathroom. The tiles and cabords match nicely and the little gold rims after that, there's just a long hallway , at the end of it it's the bedroom. A huge ass bedroom that is. the room overlooks the whole city. I'm sure during the night this is the best view ever.Mahlangulogistics is one massive skyscrapper here in Midrand.

Okay Ora focus...kana why am I here? Oooh yes. To bath. I got so caught up in admiring the place that I didn't even notice someone was here .I turned only to find kagiso watching me

"oooh I'm sorry,I didn't hear you come in" I say.

"no it's fine. I...uhm ... I couldn't work at the office, everyone kept starring at me" I understand him.i totally do.

"mmmm"

he scratched his forehead "anyway, go take a bath and find something in there to wear , we'll be working here today"

I turned to leave when he stopped me and told me the bathroom is this was. Not only is this room beautiful its amazing .you should have seen my smile when the doors opened and revealed a fantasy bathroom...

He left me to bath in peace, everything in here were manly, I used his lotion , I went to the walk in closet and found only his clothes . I grabbed a shirt and sweats and put socks on.

When I walked out, he looked at me from head to toe , shook his head and gave me a doggy bag. I took it when I opened I found breakfast inside.i gave him a smile he returned it and we got down to work

Somehow working knowing that you are comfortable gets the job done pretty well. We managed to finish the the Mashile presentation and kagiso seemed proud. Yes it is crazy that not even a week after the burial of his wife he's here at the office running around like a headless chicken busy with work stuff. But! If I dare complain about it, all work will be left to his PA,

PA who happens to be Me, so no. I'm not sorry for saving myself from slaving away giving someone space to morn someone WE both lost. Even Geet would understand.

The time now is just after nine in the evening, we just finished the second presentation and I am tired as hell.

"well...that was draining , Chinese? " You should see my smile.

"yes please" he stood up and reached for his phone that was on the counter. Since I was kind of pressed I quickly went to the bathroom while he placed on order.

I took my phone and went with it to the bathroom. I tried to video call Yona but I wouldn't go through*sigh* is this how things should be like, when you need your partner during tough times they rather choose traveling than supporting you through the difficult times you are going through.

I guess I should stop and just wait for her to make the first move then.

I flushed the toilet, washed my hands and walked out to the lounge but not before grabbing a book on the shelves. I don't even know what book it is because I just took fela

When I got there kagiso was at the door paying the delivery guy.

"that was quick" he turned to look at me before closing the door .

"yeah well I long place an order I was just calling them to deliver"

Ah, clever.

"and how did you know I was gonna agree to Chinese? "

He placed the plastic on the kitchen table, went over to the wine cellar and scanned them before picking one.

"I married your sister have you forgotten" that managed to put a smile on my face, those few seconds he and I both forgot about the tragedy that had befallen on us.

He stood frozen as if remembering the present,he placed two glasses of in front of me and opened the wine

"and besides it's not like you had a choice " hah! Nice one there.

"listen it's pretty late and I'm tired so I need to get going alright"

He wipped his mouth

"yeah sure, I'll take you come on"

"you really don't have to"

He threw me a bored look "Oratilwe just come okay"

"okay" I say, chuckling.

When we got to the parking there were only a few cars parked. It was way past knockoff time so I'm not surprised when there only is few cars here.

"come this way" he grabbed my hand and led me to his car that was at the far end of the parking.

Throughout the ride we spoke a lot , mostly about Geet and baby Cavin, their son, Cavin is such a sweetheart.

He drove me all the way to aunt's house, as much as I don't like it here I don't have a choice, I'm even planning on moving out but with what money? The little that I make goes to buying groceries, cosmetics and also transport.

It was around midnight when he pulled up at the gate, the security opened for him and he drove to the door.

"you can take the rest of tomorrow off, I won't be in"

Say no more, I love me my sleep.

"thank you" I opened the door and went inside, immediately as I entered I found a pair of eyes piercing my head. If looks could kill I'd be dead by now.

What is she even doing up this late ,that too dressed this well with makeup on at this time of the night? Mmmmh. There were two glasses of wine on the kitchen table. Aii...some things are better left unsaid.

I walked to my room, took out my phone to call Yona but it took me straight to voicemail. I sent a text for her to call me when she gets my text. It's hard having a partner who would rather choose going away to a foreign country than to stick with you through the most difficult time of your life, she knows that I need but she'd never. *Sigh* I'll just wait for her to call or text me first because I am seriously tired of being the only one in this relationship.
