Jethro’s fortress didn’t feel much like a fortress anymore, and no matter how many guards she put on watch, Rashel didn’t feel safe anymore. The peace she thought she had found had dissipated very quickly as soon as she read Seth’s message. Rashel sat in the middle of her home office, surrounded by a half-circle of softly glowing screens. She couldn’t sleep, so she found her way to the only place that was currently keeping her sane.
