The Bloodteeth Effigy-Speyer's Convergence 1

A church in a country ruled by the roman in their century holding the secrets of a third world lost city. All of these only got more interesting all the while more confusing and as again I am in my mind mapping all of this together thanks to the detailed representation of an ancient map provided by Calfian and the one I had managed to memorize a long time before. One of these maps was collected by us and now Calfian has it and the other with my journal carelessly left in Derik's place thanks to my unstable head carrying that beast named Naufilius. Thankfully I haven't died, I must say though the mad Terragon did swing his sword against my neck he seemed to have held back his insanity knowing I'm all needed in this journey after all. I could have only hoped Derik was left unharmed whilst I laid on the table unconscious. One of the people in my head, either my own consciousness or Naufilius had heard the conversation well and clear for me to remember this after a while. "What did you do?!" A familiar tone shouting worriedly and trembling as tears fell from his eyes thinking I was laying dead as he stared into the menacing enemy's eye trying to pull out his soul. " Only the soul of his was too impure for a vampire even to take and too dead to make him undead for he with rage struck me with the back of his sword and laid hands on the table panting and looking at Derik, "you idiot... you have no idea... if I kill him we all die. " Derik sighed in relief and looked up at the ceiling probably praying to someone pretty sure he was just scolding his dad for not being here but he looked at him and chuckled seriously, "haha hell yeah, without us you are nothing and wait.. what do you mean 'we' die.. " I wish I could explain the exact thing that happened to the Speyer castle but I guess Calfian was well informed, after all, he said with no pride about a fellow Terragon sitting down still in fear and anger and sighed. He tried to speak but trembled with rage and agitation and looked at Derik, "I'm damn sure even your dad would have felt like me for what he even did to the Bloodteeth. " He smiled nervously and looked confused, "Wait what do you mean my father. Dude in all seriousness I don't give a damn what you want but um you better tell me what is gonna happen from here on. This is confusing as hell.. " Me here thinking he never wants to know why we do this and he's all curious about what is the past that connects him as well. I would say great improvement but Calfian was sitting there in an unstable state. I doubt he would let him talk this freely forever being very stiff and completely sucked in his rage and shock. He was sighing a lot and looking at Derik while he sat watching all this pretty weirded out. He then gently leaned towards the table and listened as he spoke after all, "Speyer... Speyer Higlith , the half-beast,half-man, crippled yet powerful and known for his magic went away for not liking the way our country was built on Glendin. He was one of the Terragons and even a friend to Faudian Sr. and my brother who was under the same clan called the warriors." Derik eyes moved a bit as he was restless out of curiosity to learn more and then uncontrollably he speaks only making his punishment arrive sooner than later, but later than mine, "Hah right, what happened then, you are making these weird pauses and it really like really--" He was interrupted by Calfian's loud sigh of controlling his anger and he spoke with a bit of commanding rageful tone and a slight hint of worrying, "Shut...your mouth, Count junior. The person had taken something valuable not only to the Glendins but my family as well...and--and he uses it to.." He trembled and became sadder as his face frowned and he looked down shaking as well, "He took our magic spells, he learned from my family and he used it against some of us and he destroyed them mercilessly and selfishly just to protect himself from the punishment of stealing such magical and forbidden spell books from the sacred library and along with a few well known and guarded treasures in his hands somehow. He made them come there and he killed them for it...just...just for him to be entertained he then turned them...into his undead slaves." Derik's face turned as soon as he said undead. He moved his hands uneasily reminding him of the bad stories of his dad and he laid his back on the chair trying to think something and get out of this place before he could ask him and know the answer that never would he be seeking ever, "What do--do you mean by uh...by the undead?.." He did ask and with daunted feelings, he replied," The Bloodteeth effigy was found last in the same castle...suggesting he did use it to cause some sort of a disease powerful enough to attack any creature of any hierarchical level and turn them into the undead to work for him but instead of blood he takes their soul to become more powerful. The exact reason why he chooses people from the nearby village is by whispering the stuff they want and where to seek in their ears and subconsciously bringing them to his place all of this with his forbidden magic..." He said after which the whole room was silent, just whispers of the wind from the open window traveling and turning the scene to seem even more terrible. It was almost as though no one breathed for that one moment and that moment was long enough for any of them to scream just to be weirded out from the amount of silence going on for a while. "Thats ..you are lying you creep. My dad has the effigy it's his and he won't ever give it to anyone...I know that!" Derik seemed upset thinking his dad was again to be seen as a criminal in this story but he couldn't let that happen as he yelled that statement and teared up a bit which caused him to speak out of worriedness and respect for his father, The Count again, "I know he's been bad and done chaotic stuff but he doesn't come as the type who betrays for treasure he already has enough...you are either lying or all of this is wrong...just...just let Faudian wake up we will figure this out.." Calfian was enraged with how he had spoken and he got up, in the same manner, banging on his table and commanding his guards to hold him tight and he pointed at his face as he made one last statement, "I don't know what happened to him and your dad but the effigy isn't one it's two, if another one is with the Count then he is either keep it hidden or god knows who if Speyer was involved his descendants might have come to him to take it...we are doomed if that happens as ..." He skipped for a while keeping his sword down and sighing for a minute to get himself in control and he pulled back his sword upwards towards Derik, "As well, that man never died...and he never planned on dying all these years. The chance of him being alive or coming back to this world is high and if his convergence takes place with that effigy he will know about the instrument and this will cause all of us Doom..." Derik was a bit shocked and he hoped I got up and saw a little bit of blood then knowing I won't wake up for a while he thought this was a mess and still went along with our plan, "I'm gonna go along with this for you then Faudian...just for you and all this chaotic dumb stuff." He whispered to himself talking in a Gibberish manner right before he was struck and taken down unconsciously. We both laid unconscious on Calfian's table and he moved away from his sighing and saying, "It had to be done sons of Glendinians, just the way our fellow Speyer has also need to be taken care of, put them in our vehicle lets move to the ... let's go to Germany..." He finally made the move putting us both inside his carriage that seemed a little more mechanical and present-like but very different from cars and bikes. We were moving at great speed, we could have even flown but all that wasn't really much of my worry as to the place we were going. I wonder what she may have found by now and I hope we don't meet her there or as soon as we do the worse it gets. I must keep at least Calfian away from her even if not his guards. Derik slapped me as he woke me up after coming to consciousness, with no sign of Naufilius when I was in there. This was quite suspicious but then I was distracted from the sky-view shown from the carriage and from where I sat inside. I could the whole city and many cathedrals, a busy place and for who knows there could be some or many supernatural in disguise for the rich country has many great ancient treasures and completely filled with important history and historical monuments. Not to say the people here were quite brilliant humans as well. I had worked with one of their generals, must say what hard work they put into something that they can't really figure out like a supernatural artifact thankfully it was hidden and covered away from the public eye. Not as important as other treasures over here but they are well known for keeping ancient secrets. The only pain is that people like Calfian can get hands-on with those with me behind it and it will only ruin the value of all these things in the possession of a money-hungry and a power-hungry filthy beast. For now, I had to enjoy the view with a smile and a fellow friend while finding it a little hard to breathe at this height. All was well and good as we flew down towards another huge filthy castle with the name terragon etched on it big as its wall on the entrance seemed to be. I sighed but was relieved quite a bit that I had finally made it to Speyer. It was one of the oldest cities and named after ancient lost heroes and Speyer had sons and daughters who fought for a great war going away from his bad methods. That was the only way the name had then spread over time in history and then came as a name for the city and the cathedral. All that said we had entered the giant city from this ugly building entrance as we got down still cuffed and taken in by the guards thankfully still conscious and strong enough to think well and get in my mind castle. This was for later as I had to be present to take in each and every detail this big house holds for me, there might be shown of weaknesses for the Terragon family in this place. I better keep an eye but first to the planning site and it seems like it was at Calfian's ugly house. I entered the pathetic building that had shiny tiles and golden walls, stairs made of glass reaching great heights to floors probably holding more than several rooms and the ground floor had many unique and Terragonian furniture like the wolvedrike spike wooden table and Electric fox's silk woven couches. I could even smell meals that I didn't really come across in my life but I'm sure it was food with some secret ancient recipe. Hopefully not ancient ingredients as while that was kept overtime for well...more than a 1000 years. I looked at Calfian as he instructed the guards to move forward and open the door to the visiting room. I was glad to go in and so was Derik as we gave a smile to each other for the plan to not be drastically bad after all. We went in just a couple of stairs to go across and then came inside a room full of fragrance and books and ancient literature, this place I really admired. A giant map probably a copy of that which we had displayed at the center and probably the air conditioner was switched on as well. The place really helped my brain to recover a bit as I would have to use it excessively for the mind castle works I needed to do. All this and something still felt off. A familiar figure shows its back and sits on the couch wearing a shirt that trekkers and tourists usually wear and a cowgirl hat. This reminded me of someone but-- oh hell no, it can't be...not now. All the things I had feared were happening right in front of me. Calfian got closer to her and yes she recognized him and also all of us. I gulped and the moment she turned to look at me, I knew from the side that she came all the way and found me here and I knew we were all going to be doomed after all. "So our plan did fail fatally...fatally, Faudian." This was the first time I agreed with the fellow friend there and I wish I was already back home and never started this journey, what was to come because of her was anyways going to be a very cold future for the three of us and I could only cross my hands and hope for all this to end quick. It was time to call this a doomsday already and kill all the dreams and plans for this would no longer...move forward anymore. I'm--I'm sorry Father...and mother. I'm sorry I could only make it this far...
