Avenging Kin(An Interval towards Act 2)

Derik was sitting in the corner full of dust and hopelessness with a hint of holding back Wrath. I leaned against the jail door trying to figure this all out and bring out an explanation. I wanted to tap into the mind castle but I was afraid to do so as that might let Naufilius out. Maybe this wasn't the time for him, as I don't know if we fought, Naufilius would hurt him. It was only a matter of time before Derik would take me down in a s***h. I wouldn't ever fight back, but all this time only to be brought here. This plan was not supposed to fail or not fail this way miserably.
I was at the waking of doom. I wanted to keep all the supernatural away from the human world hence the detective job but I didn't know these brats ruled them anyways. This was going to get out of hand and even then my friend here was upset and I couldn't help but be afraid of how all this might turn out as well...
He kicked the bare steel of the jail and pushed his head against it and I stopped it before he hit the jail poles. He strikes me at his might before holding back right as it nears my face. "You have the right to hit me but that won't end our problem. Without answers none of us are getting anywhere and not only are you in the blind so am I. You know my rage so trust me when I say that I am seeking the way out and against this idiotic empire they built upon the ashes of our kin. " I sighed and brought my finger above to the soaked face of my friend with hope and might and a raging tempted face. "We still know the route to the forbidden instrument the rest of it. " My mind castle had a way of storing necessary information while deleting some in this case I had memorized the essential details of the map and we could get there but we do not need to sneak in as the person already holding us captive is mainly keeping us here so we could lead him there, "Its a matter of luring him into thinking that we are helping him and at the time we have the treasure we take it and we go to the center of Earth." I held his friend, "I promise if what we heard was true I shall never look back at this journey and the stuff I managed to pull off believing my father and his justice but if it was something else and it happened just for a greater purpose. We lead the supernatural away from this planet and keep these people safe."
He glared at me but held my hand at his tightest grip and growled and said, "Deeeaal but I will take you down if I come across Naufilius and he tries to sabotage this."
I couldn't say much but backed off a bit and had become worried but for now, I lied like something in me told me to,"Deal..you take me down if Naufilius tries to break our plan and set his own path completely relying on my father as the symbol of justice..its a deal."
He smiled and went back, the path i must choose from here on will only tell whom I keep with me and whom I push away...and I shall only hope that soon everything that comes into play is for me to avenge my kin. It's an oath that whatever happens, I will not take down...My legacy..
