"It was me," I said, stepping forward. My voice shook, but I forced myself to keep talking. "I was the only one who talked about escape. They didn't say anything. They were just listening."
Every omega in the room gasped. Some looked relieved that the attention was shifting away from them. Others looked horrified, like I'd just signed my own death warrant.
