Cardan “The timing just isn’t right.” Killian slants his eyes at me from across my office desk. That simple look has the hand written letter in my left hand suddenly weighing a ton. Yeah, I’m making excuses “I have no idea what it is that gave you the, uh…. incentive to come up with something like this, but I’m not gonna lie, I’m all for it.” He shrugs, “Takes guts.” He’s right.
