Chapter Eighty

1057 Words

Natalia Brother? Alden has a brother? “Gregory!” My entire body tenses at the bite in Cardan’s voice. But before Gregory comes into my line of sight, Cardan barks out his order. “Put him in handcuffs.” My eyes shift from Cardan to the male lingering a couple paces behind the head officer. He doesn’t bat an eye at Cardan’s order, nimbly holding out both wrists when another guard approaches him with silver chains. It’s precautionary and understandable. And even through the obvious confusion of what’s going on right now, I’m actaully surprised that Cardan even gives him the benefit of lettting him into his pack. He did it with Alden, but that was because of my insistance at that time, and the fact that I wanted to treat him. The case of the man here is completely different though.
