Natalia I'm still reeling from the encounter with Cardan. I hadn't realized that his rut had gotten to that stage. I could see the internal battle he had been having with his wolf, his eyes flickering between Cardan's midnight blue ones, and his wolf's frosty gaze. He had been panting with rage, seemingly on the edge of tipping over. The thought sends a shiver down my spine, as I recall the last time his wolf had taken over control.
