Cardan “You’re here early.” It’s the first thing out Natalia’s mouth, as she moves aside to let me into the cabin. My smile is sheepish, bashful even. “I didn’t want to keep them on their toes for too long is all.” I say, stepping through the front door, “And for all I know, I could show up just thirty minutes late, and they'll be an hour in deep sleep.” She laughs, throwing her head back and letting the humor wash all over her.
