The two women spent the whole day outside exploring the gardens, telling stories and what not. It had been a rather fun day, even for Elanor, whose mind started to clear and come to peace with all that happened in the past few days. When they finally paused from their story telling, the two noticed how late it had gotten. The sun had set just a while ago, and the sky was darkening slowly.
"We should get inside." Elanor proposed and Laura agreed. This part of the city could get very cold very fast, and something she despised about this place was cold.
Inside, Elanor noticed the silence. There were no lights turned on, no movement around the house. Nothing. She stepped in cautiously.
"This is strange. Where is everybody?" the woman asked as she started to turn on the lights as she walke
