Margaret wanted to kiss her hands out of gratitude, but Virginia stopped her. "Don't, Margaret. Please don't do that" Virginia resisted pulling her hands away. "You may feel remorse for the past, but you know I never held a grudge against you. I have always loved you and I still love you. I wanted so much to be close but you avoided me so strongly.
