After a long walk, Agnes realized that the coachman wasn't exaggerating at all. Indeed it was far away. Although it was autumn and no longer so hot, sweat ran down Agnes' body. She wiped her forehead several times on her sleeve. The important thing was she had met a maid on the street and asked her if she was doing well for Dr. Mason's tower.
