Kaelen POV The whole house is bustling today. I stand at the window of my study, looking down at the driveway. Men in black suits move in pairs along the perimeter. Guards at every gate. Snipers on the roof. I have assigned security positions to some of my best men around the house. My family is coming back, and I cannot put it past the Russians to cause trouble. In the kitchen, Mary shouts orders. Pots clang. The smell of fresh bread fills the air. Amara runs up and down the stairs with armfuls of clean linens. The maids dust every surface. The gardeners trim every hedge. There is a lot of cooking and a lot of cleaning going on in the mansion today. I check my watch. Ten minutes. In ten minutes, Naomi will be back home. Henderson went to pick her up from the airport this morning.
