Naomi POV Today has been a very bad day. It started before the sun came up. Alex cried out in the dark. His voice was small and raspy. I ran to his room and found him sitting up in bed, tears streaming down his face. "My tummy hurts," he whimpered. I touched his forehead. It was hot. Too hot. "Shh, little one. I am here." I spent the whole night rocking him. His body was warm against my chest. His wolf, Moon, was pressed between us. He coughed. He sniffled. He could not get comfortable.
