Selena’s POV
I tried to change my clothes, but I couldn't because Nadia was still standing in front of me.
"Go fetch water and clean the house. Your uncle is having visitors today, including the Alpha of our pack. Make sure everything is clean and don't act like the weak werewolf that you are."
I needed to immediately run Nadia's errands before she kicked me again, but I couldn't stop thinking about how terrible my life had been over the past year since I lost my parents when I was twenty years old.
Nadia and some of her friends started preparing the food. I was hoping Freya would show up and lend a hand, like she always does when Aidan throws a party at his house. For the time being, it would be good to have someone to play with.
However, Freya never arrived. As time passed, my anxiety grew, knowing that Nadia would become even angrier if her esteemed guests arrived and found the house in disarray. With each passing minute, my responsibilities weighed heavier on me, dragging me into a sea of panic.
A sudden knock made me flinch, signaling that the moment had arrived, and I hadn't completed any of the tasks Nadia had assigned me. Desperation fueled my actions as I hurriedly gathered buckets and rags, desperately trying to make the dusty rooms presentable.
Tension filled the air as the door swung open, revealing powerful werewolves exuding authority. My heart stopped as I locked eyes with the Alpha, his piercing gaze seeming to strip me of my weaknesses.
Nadia, always the perfect actress, forced a fake smile and gestured for the Alpha to enter. "Welcome, Alpha Fenrir. I hope you find our humble home to your liking."
As the Alpha inspected every corner of the house, the weight of judgment settled deeper into my soul. His presence suffocated me with fear and shame. Nadia's eyes darted towards me, silently warning me to keep my distance and stay out of sight.
But fate had other plans. Just as I tried to retreat further into the shadows, a loose floorboard creaked beneath my weight, capturing the attention of the Alpha and everyone in the room. Panic surged through me, freezing me in place as a deafening silence filled the space.
The Alpha's piercing gaze locked onto me, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "And who is this?" he inquired, his voice commanding and authoritative.
Nadia's false smile faltered, her jaw tightening in an attempt to maintain composure. "Just a servant, Alpha Fenrir," she replied dismissively, her voice dripping with derision. "Not worth your attention."
But the Alpha continued to gaze at me. Then Aidan entered the room, welcoming the guests and expressing gratitude for their presence. They all sat down together, conversing and enjoying their dinner. Aidan called me over a few minutes later and told me I was going to Alpha Fenrir's house to get something and bring it back to him.
"Okay, Sir," I replied obediently.
I'm curious as to what he requires that he can't send one of the Alpha's servants to bring to him. I'm terrified to question him, so I have to do what he says. I arrived at Alpha Fenrir's palace a few minutes later, walked down the long corridor and taking in my surroundings.
"Can I assist you?" a male voice from behind shocked me. When I turned back, there was a lovely young man about my age standing there. He had dark, wavy hair that was curly at the ends, strong brows, and a straight nose.
"Can you tell me who you are?" "What brings you here?" he questioned, his eyes hardening.
"Um...my name is Selene, and I'm here to retrieve something for the Alpha."
The boy looked at me curiously, scrutinizing my physique with his eyes.
"Come with me," he murmured after a few pause, holding my arm in his.
"What's your name?" I inquired, allowing him to lead me.
"I'm Toby," he replied. "My father works for Alpha Fenrir."
"Oh," I said, surprised.
We walked towards a large, intricately designed wooden door Toby opened, leading me inside. I noticed a spacious room with a desk and chair, a few chairs surrounding a coffee table, and a couch along the far wall. To the right of the desk, there was a door, and behind the desk stood a big bookshelf. Toby closed the door behind us and pointed to a seat.
"Please wait here," he instructed, and I followed his request, observing as he disappeared into the next room.
It is already getting dark as I look outside through the window.
Toby says that the Alpha is waiting for me in his room. Upon hearing this, my mind was hit with shock. What am I going to do in his room? I had no choice but to go and meet him, as that might be where I can give Aidan what he wants.
He led me to his room and stopped at the door.
“This is the room,” he noted before turning around to leave immediately. I wanted to call him back because I never felt secure, especially after hearing the news about the Alpha and how he was gazing at me when he came to Aidan's house. But he left quickly.
I had no choice but to knock on the door.
"Come in," a voice answered. I took a deep breath before entering, but the presence and smell of the Alpha made me feel nervous.
"Hello, how are you?"
"Fine."
"Lie on the bed," he said.
"I don't mean to be rude, but what am I supposed to do on your bed?"
"Are you not aware?"
"Aware of what, sir?" I answered.
He leaned towards me, putting his hands on my thighs.
"Your Uncle Aidan said you are going to satisfy me sexually in bed tonight."
"I am not sure," I answered.
"Then why did you come to my place? I understand," he said.
"Well, if you like, we can start with this." He took his hand from my thighs and grabbed mine. I was shocked by his move, but I could not resist it. His touch was gentle and his eyes were filled with fire.
He was only wearing shorts, but I had to admit that he was beautiful and had a perfect body.
"Let's get this over with," he whispered into my ear with a frown on his face.
"Is this what I'm going to experience?
I was shaking with fear.
Before I could say anything, he removed my clothes, held my hands down on the bed, and entered me. I cried out in pain, but there was no one to come to my help.
He was so rough, thrusting strongly, that I wondered if I had done something wrong to him or if Aidan was using this to torment me. I closed my eyes tightly to avoid seeing his face.
After a few minutes, I could no longer feel him inside me. I slowly opened my eyes to see him already getting dressed.
I stood up from the bed and cleaned myself with water from his closet. As I cleaned myself, I felt pain all over my waist and some of the bruises I had from Nadia's beating.
"You can go now," Fenrir said.
I left his house feeling numb.
"Why is this happening to me?" I said to myself.
"Is this how my life is going to end?"
When I got home, I encountered Aidan there. I asked him why he allowed such a thing to happen to me.
"Are you crazy? How dare you face me like that?" he yelled at me and then slapped me across the face. I found myself lying on the ground.
