Storm didn't know what to say. She sat unmoving, staring blankly in the fire.
"I - I don't understand." She finally said in a whisper. "I was always told I would not see a day over 21. I can't have a mate, I don't have a wolf."
"I don't understand it either... I just feel the pull to you. I feel it in my entire body. The second I saw you in the pond, I knew my search for you was finally over."
She looked at him then, really looked at him. His eyes were the light blue, almost white, and seemed sincere. He looked at her with a gentle, compassionate gaze. His scent was more powerful than any other wolf she's ever known.
"I don't believe it..." She whispered.
"I know it doesn't make sense. Hell, I even thought it was a hoax. But I've been searching for you for lifetimes, Storm. I've always known you existed, but I never knew how or where to find you."
"Lifetimes -" Storm questioned, "What do you mean?"
Aiden looked caught off guard. He had said too much too quickly. "I didn't mean to say that. There's a lot that I need to explain, but I don't think now is the right time..." He sighed and ran his hands through his shaggy black hair. "I don't want to overload you with information."
Storm nodded slowly and looked back down to her feet past her knees. "Where are you taking me?" She decided she would press for more information later. Right now, she needed to figure out how to get back home.
"My pack and home..." Aiden replied. "I don't want to scare you more or keep you hostage, but I want you to see the place I saw the wolf in my dreams. I think that's where she wanted me to take you."
Storm thought hard. Maybe this man was completely crazy, or maybe there's truth she needs to find for herself. She doesn't have much time left in this world. "I'll go... but there's something you need to know about me." She sighed and unwrapped her arms from around her knees, letting them dangle to the side in defeat. "I'm going to die on my 21st birthday."
"I know... I've heard my entire life about the royal twins." His expression turned serious, and the muscles in his jaw twitched as he paused. "But the wolves prophecy... Could it be that we just needed to find one another?"
Storm tilted her head in question. 'Could that be?'
They stayed in silence for a couple of minutes, both lost in their thoughts. Storm was extremely attracted to hi⁰m. His scent was engulfing her. That is what they say a mate bond will first show as...
She returned her gaze to Aiden. "How were you strong enough to defeat my brother? He is the strongest wolf in existence next to my father. And not only just him, but the royal guard of the strongest warriors in the world."
Aiden didn't answer right away. He needed time to think it through. "That is another question I can not answer right now, but princess, I promise to answer all your questions soon."
She squinted her eyes in suspicion. 'This man is unreal. Dangerous and unreal.' She thought as she looked him dead in the eye, tilting her chin up, trying to decide what she should do.
"I will go with you to see this spot and get my answers, but I demand two things in return..." Storm spoke slowly and confidently. She did not believe he meant her any harm. "I want to call my family to let them know I am okay. And I want to be home for my father's last run."
Aiden thought about this for a few moments. "Deal, princess." He stood up, walking two steps to the small table and grabbed the plate of food and water. "You need to eat." Aiden walked over to her slowly and crouched before her to hand Storm the plate of food.
Just then, Storm's stomach growled. She accepted the plate slowly, not breaking eye contact. 'Can she trust him? Could he be taking her for ransom? This can't be real.'
"This is safe to each and drink, correct?" Storm looked for any signs of deceifulness in his eyes when he nodded yes and she believed him.
Aiden returned to the floor where he last sat and watched as Storm to her bites. His eyes focused on her mouth. 'She's so beautiful.'
Storm ate in silence, while Aiden stared at her. She kept her eyes fixated on the plate as she felt the tension in the room fill.
Aiden couldn't help it; staring at her mouth brought back the memories of her in the pond. He wanted to feel those lips on his skin. He wanted those lips pressed against his lips. He wanted to feel them run butterfly kisses down his stomach and take his shift in between them.
The thoughts rushed blood to his Member and her felt it grow stiff. 'Not now! I don't want to scare her again.'
He couldn't help it... He needed to feel her so badly. Aiden reached down and adjusted himself so she couldn't see the rock hard tent in his jeans. When he returned hid gaze to her, she was staring straight at his crotch.
Her perfect mouth lay ajar and kept her eyes fixated on that spot. Aiden cleared his throat and her gaze returned to his eyes.
"I'm sorry," he said, "It's hard not to think about being in side of you."
She gasped. Her eyes darting way in embarrassment. Heat rising in her cheeks. "I have another rule." She stated.
"Yes?" He watched her as she tried her best not to make anything more awkward.
"You cannot try to touch me again..." She said. "I have a duty to all werewolves and my family, I must remain untouched and aVirginia." She stated taking another another bite of her food.
"I wont touch you until you beg me to, princess." He said in a growl, and took a deep breath. He could smell arousal coming from Storm after he said that. "And I think you'll want me as much as I want you soon, baby girl."
