"you're next in line," said Artemis pointed her finger at my angry beta. In a blink of an eye Mike my beta was running towards Artemis shifting mid-air and continue running.
Pack members were shouting for Artemis to run for her life but Artemis being Artemis, run towards Mike. I then shifted and rushed to save Artemis from my beta but was too late for they had already jumped on each other Mike throwing Artemis on the floor and him landing on her with his canines prepared already to tear down Artemis neck and he successfully did it from my point of view.
I stopped running and stayed glued in one place hearing the cries escaping the mouth of the members of my pack. Before me, my fiancee was killed by my mate and now my mate was killed by my beta.
