Chapter 5

Chapter: 4 His Guardians

Caiden did his best to stay behind Vix as she was the only one around who could defend him and Miki if the Gaian's attacked them, he did however wonder where Davina was though that changed when he heard the sound of fighting outside. Vix heard it too and looking out the window saw Davina in her spirit form with her katana fighting the Armotrons. Davina dodged attacks that came from behind and took out the men with ease though they just kept coming, more and more appeared.

"We need to get to her but I cant transform here." Vix said.

"What why?" Caiden asked.

"Simple I haven't made a contract, all the dangerous stuff with none of the powers. Its great being wild." Vix said then looked to Caiden.

"No, no way I could never force you to be my guardian not unle..." he was completely shut up when Vix kissed him.

Vix kissed him deeply her tongue playing with his as they kissed until finally she felt it her power, as she pulled back she smirked as a bright light surrounded her. First her ears appeared as did her tail, then her clothes changed from the school uniform to a dark red strap dress, it hung down low in the back and the sides but still was quite low in the front. It had black seams down the middle with golden buttons. Her flats turned into long black boots which went all the way up to right below her knee, two bracers appeared on her no sleeved arms and a weapon now appeared on her back.

Vix smiled taking out her weapon it was a staff with a sword at the end of it, it looked quite simple a round top which led down to a hilt and the blade which stuck out of it. The sword wasn't long but it was wide and short. Vix now picked up Caiden who was holding Miki and jumped out the window landing on the ground she put them in a corner. She starting blasting fire balls into the Armotrons hoard and though it took out a bunch more just kept coming, this did however give Davina a hole to get over to them she smiled at Caiden.

"Great we have two humans who are useless, we need to find the leader." Vix said then looked to Davina who was watching her back and trying to keep them off her right flank while she took the right.

"agreed but with what we have now its useless we need a full team to get through this." Davina said then looked behind them to Caiden and the girls.

"No I wont do it not to them." Caiden said shaking his head, he wasn't going to force these two girls who knew nothing to be thrust into a world he barely knew about.

Before any of them could react they saw the Gaian leader, it was a large rock beast standing about 30 feet high and it threw a giant rock towards them. Davina was to late and as she jumped and tried to slice it in half it hit her. Vix tried the same but was hit too then it came at Caiden and the other girls he had to do something. He closed his eyes 'I have to protect them' he thought. Raven his in Caiden back and held his arm tightly as the rock came at them, Miki woke as well as the rock was coming at them.

"I wont let this happen!" Caiden screamed

Something snapped within Caiden at seeing the rock pummel his friends and coming for him and two innocent girls, his eyes starting to glow a light wrapped around all of them. The light reached out for Vix and Davina pulling them towards Caiden, as the rock finally got to them it shattered from the inside out as if with a thought Caiden destroyed it. Caiden as if possessed looked at the girls behind him, first he pulled in Raven and kissed her deeply, the shy girl was shocked but closed her eyes and leaned in kissing him back. As she did she felt a surge of energy rush through her body and then it exploded out of her back.

Raven opened her eyes seeing to furled black wing around her and going into her chest smiled, she extended them fully then extending her hand a bow materialized. She looked and saw Vix and Davina fending off armortrons and now stepped up behind them, with one pull back and release of her hand 100's of arrows now rained down upon the enemy.

Caiden didn't stop after releasing Raven he with one arm grabbed Miki who at first tried to fight him but realized she couldn't after he put a hand on her face and forcefully kissed him, her fight left her but her eyes stayed open in shock. Feeling a surge of energy she kissed him deeper and then the energy exploded through out her body. She released the kiss and Caiden smiled at her and now sat up against the wall, Miki however looked over to the other girls her tail swinging behind her and ears perked as she took out her sword and shield she jumped in front of Raven blocking a strike from an armortrons. Striking it down with her sword the girls looked at each other. They had close enough to a full team and the Gaian leader was in front of them.

"Go get him girls." Caiden said before fainting

Miki raided her shield creating a giant bubble around Caiden and releasing her shield it stayed there to keep him safe, now the girls were ready. All the girls lined up and though this was new to them all were acting on the spirits instincts, Raven shot out a few volleys and did her best to make a hole. The one's she could get she left to Vix who threw fire ball after fireball into the armortrons making a large hole now once both attack were combined. This left Miki and Davina to the leader, both ran up the middle swords in hand and dodged the rocks that were on coming.

Mike and Davina split up one taking its right side and the other taking the left, as both ran they jumped up as its arms swung at them, Miki stabbed her sword into its arm and now ran up it. Davina attacked its legs moving back and forth jumped and slashing its knee's. Miki running up it arm no jumped and slashed at its chest to make a giant gash in it, as she did that Davina cut its kneed causing it to fall.

Raven and Vix who were now no longer surrounded by the enemies held there weapons together, as both attacked the arrows that shot out were on fire and as they hit the Gaian they exploded. The Gaian roared one last roar before Miki and Davina took of its rock head, this caused the time to continue and the Armortrons to disappear.

"We did it" Davina said then saw Caiden unconscious and ran over to him.

The other girls followed and all of them ended up taking him to the nurse to let him rest, they made up some bogus story of how he fell down the stairs and the girls just happened to find him. Vix, Miki, and Raven all went back to their classes as told but Davina used the fact that she was his closest family to stay and watch over him. The nurse ended up leaving shortly afterwards and Davina who was sitting next to Caiden in a chair now lay next to him, holding him closely and tight to her chest.

Caiden woke in the same star filled black sky with the girls in front of him all had weapons and Vix was in her outfit he saw before the dark red dress. Each had their weapon, the bow, the sword staff, the katana, and lastly the sword and shield, as he looked at them a white figure stepped out of the darkness.

"Step one claim your guardians, though its not fully complete I must commend you. All at once to, it must have drained you." the figure said.

"What... I didn't want to bring them into this, its not their fight but that means I..I...I kissed them." Caiden said motioning to Raven and Miki who were normal until he kissed them.

"Yes your master powers took over as you were in a dire situation. Besides that they will be needed Caiden for the times coming ahead." the figure said and sat down in front of them.

"I don't care about any of this there has to be a way to change them back." Caiden said looking to the figure for guidance or an answer.

"There is no way, what's done is done. Once a spirit had mended with a soul it becomes permanent and once a master makes a pact with that spirit they are theirs forever until they are killed or break the pact and become wild spirits." the figure answered.

"You have a great battle ahead Caiden, bond with your guardian as they will need it and as will you." the figure said.

Caiden saw the darkness, the figure and the girls move further and further away as he tried to speak to the figure but no words came from his mouth. Instead he woke with a start and sitting up quickly giving Davina a start as she almost fell of the small bed.

"What was that?" Caiden said out loud then saw Davina who sat up and put her hand on his chest, she was worried.

"Caiden your okay." she said wrapping her arms around him.

"Of course I am but what happened?" he questioned.

"Activating too many spirits so quickly caused a power flux in your body it made you go unconscious. Though I'm grateful for the assistance I thought id be the only guardian you need." Davina said pouting playfully as she wasn't that sad about it.

"I'm sorry...I didn't want to..." Davina's laugh interrupted him and he stopped.

"It's fine my mate, we were in a dire situation and I know how you feel about this." Davina said and caressed his cheek.

As they were talking they did not hear the door open as Raven, Miki, and Vix walked through they saw what was going on and things well got a little nuts.

"Indecent!" Miki yelled and jumped in between them, her cheeks flushed red as she looked up to Caiden then she punched him off of the bed.

Vix smirked and now went over to Caiden and out a hand on his cheek then kissed it all better as she helped him up off the ground, Raven didn't really do anything just stood in the doorway watching flushed she raised her hand to her eyes.

" Well aren't you a little stud." Vix said as she helped him.

"You are an indecent monster and someone needs to keep an eye on you to make sure you do not defile anymore young ladies." Miki said.

"None except you right lover girl, I saw how you kissed him back." Vix said jokingly.

"I did not, I...I...I.I.I " she stuttered and no more words came out, she lunged at Vix only to fall.

Caiden caught her and smiled at her as she blushed she quickly jumped out of his arms and ran out of the nurse's office, Raven at this point came forward. Davina smiled at her and got off the bed as well, it was the end of school and all of them needed to get home soon.

"Caiden ummmm... take responsibility." she said nervously, Vix burst out in laughter at this and looked to Caiden.

"Don't you worry he will and we will explain everything." Davina said as Miki finally ended up back in the nurse's office.
