Chapter 6

Chapter: 5 Getting Everyone Together

Miki struck the Gaian with her shield and slashed it with her blade, as she did her leg kicked it throwing her backwards, Raven sent out a small volley of arrow and as it struck the Gaian fell which allowed. Miki saw it fall and slamming her shield into the back of its neck she killed it. Vix watched from behind them breathing heavy as the Armotrons faded away and all the girls were left standing in a park, Caiden came out from behind a wall with Davina. This was the 6th Gaian in the last 4 days since the team was assembled and so far they were doing really good, even though they were all new to this and Caiden wanted nothing to do with it.

"there have been so many." Caiden said, he had practically been dragged around the last few days because of these Gaian attacks.

"Agreed and its getting harder to be together during them especially after school." Miki said slightly annoyed.

The day before they had all been split up after school going home, when the Gaian attacked it took about 1 hour or so in frozen time for them to just get together. They had all gotten pretty beaten down and then had to find and face the Gaian, they did it but the leader was a tough one and Raven ended up pretty injured and had to go through extensive healing. There had to be a better way than just meeting up an easier way than splitting after school.

"How many rooms do you have in your apartment?" Vix asked Caiden, she was done risking them being split up and this was all she could think of.

"I think 4 including mine...wait no your not think..." Vix had interrupted him before he could protest.

"Raven, Miki I am formally inviting you to come and live with Caiden, Davina and myself." Vix said and winked at Caiden.

"As much as I dislike having other encroach on my mates and my love den I think it would be best." Davina said.

"I...I would umm.. have to ask my parents." Raven said blushing looking down at the ground.

"Wait so your telling me three students have been living together under the same roof and I didn't know!" Miki shouted and Caiden nodded.

"I will of course move in, if only to not allow any indecent behavior." Miki said the first part as if excited then the second part defiantly.

"NO, NO, NO , NO, NO... My parents are not gonna be okay with this I barely got them to say yes to Vix." Caiden said but by that point Davina had already called and got them to say yes.

"Is all settled." Davina said smiling and looked at Caiden.

"You really have to teach me how to do that." Caiden said.

"Its simple I'm not you." Davina said laughing and Caiden nodded, he knew that to be true as his parents were basically putty in Davina or anyone else's children's hands but his.

All the girls laughed as Caiden sighed, now the harder part explaining this in a way that would make sense and not sound fake to Raven's parents and getting them to say yes to this arrangement. Caiden sighed this was gonna be a tough sell not that he knew Ravens parents or her really that well but most parents would say no. They had to try anyways otherwise things could get messy and bad or worse someone could die.

Caiden stood in front of the main house of Raven Li it was his day off and he was using it to speak with her parents to try and get them to let her live with him and the other girls. He took a deep breath and as he went to knock on the door it opened and before him stood Raven in a purple yukata she bowed.

"Please come in Caiden" She said with elegance.

Raven led him to a small room with a table in, it that had no chairs and the floor was darker wood then one would see in most traditional houses like this. Caiden sat on his knees and waited for Raven to come back as once she sat him down she rushed off out of the room and most likely to fetch her father. As he sat there he felt eyes on him and looking around felt the presence behind him, though he hadn't fought any of the gaians he was getting really good at sensing their presence and this was not one of them. That's when he felt it, dodge rolling to his right a man in full samurai gear came through the thin wall behind him, the sword missed as he dodged.

Caiden looked around the room quickly trying to find something to defend himself, he saw nothing and as the samurai assaulted him once more with blow after blow. The small room mad it hard for him to move but using checks to the hand with his forearm he would parry and block making sure to the samurai's hand and arm and not the blade. Eventually Caiden found his chance as the man attacked Caiden stepped in grabbing the mans hand by the wrist he lightly pushed him to catch him off balance, grabbing his arm with both hand he one to hold the wrist and bent it up and the other he used to push the mans elbow and throwing him to the ground It disarmed him. As the man hit the ground Caiden still holding the arm slammed on of his knee's into his chest.

Raven came in and now saw Caiden with a man in clad samurai armor on the ground she was stunned starring at the sight she now smirked. Caiden was still for a time not laying another blow on the samurai warrior in the ground. he sighed it was just a human, there was no other thing this person could be too weak to be a Gaian and no oddities like a spirit.

"F..f..father this is not how we treat guests!" Raven said raising her voice or trying to.

"It is for guests who are trying to steal away my baby" The man said and then laughed as Caiden got off of him.

"I'm sorry sir, my name is Caiden" Caiden introduced himself and bow lightly.

"No problem at all kid, its expected not to have manners when someone attacks you. You can call me Mr. Li" He said and took off his helmet.

Caiden was in shock this was Raven's father, he looked more like an older brother or a cousin or something he looked young, he had black messy hair, brown eyes and a scar which went across his face he was tall around 6 feet but his build was tone and muscular. . Caiden knelt once again at the table in the spot he was in before, then looked to Raven and her father. Mr. Li sat down now and Raven put down the tea cups and started to poor tea for them. That's when he heard someone yell a name from behind him.

"TENZEN! the woman yelled, the man tensed up and saw his wife starring at him through the broken wall.

"Yes dear." he answered, both men felt the death aura she was spewing.

"You broke another wall!" the woman yelled coming through the door ignoring Caiden and her daughter.

Caiden watch as the woman walked in her hair barely at her shoulders it was like looking at Raven almost exactly but older and well a bigger chest and a more curvaceous older body. Raven saw as Caiden was starring at her mother, she tightened her lips and daggers could be felt coming from her eyes by Caiden who quickly now looked away. After a scolding and a smack to the head Ravens mom finally noticed Caiden sitting there.

"Ahh.. your the reason he broke the wall makes sense, mans loves his daughter and wont take a liking to you taking her from her home. Me for one, I'm just glad she found someone she loves." she said to Caiden.

"Mom!" Raven squealed blushing as she sank lower in her kneeling hiding her face.

"Hello ma'me my name is Caiden, Caiden Drake." He said respectfully.

"Drake huh big name, you related to the company?" she asked

"Yes." Caiden answered.

"I see, well then I know you come from good crop. I've met your parents." Mrs. Li states mater of factly.

"Thank you, though I know my parents can be a bit eccentric." He said.

"Well of course but where are my manners, I am Raven's mother please call me Sakurai." She told him

"Of course Mrs.L.. Sakurai." Caiden said

"So you want to take our daughter and have her live with you, why?" Mrs. Li said and put a hand on her husbands shoulder to quiet him.

"That's a littler harder to explain you see her and I, we are..." Before he could finish Raven finished for him.

"LOVERS!" Raven shouted and then looked to Caiden.

"WHAT!" bother her parents exclaimed.

"IM GONNA KI..." before Mr. Li could say anymore Mrs. Li snapped her fingers and 4 men threw him in a black bag and dragged him out, the bag was writhing and he seemed opposed to being hauled out.

"So you two are lovers huh, prove it." Mrs. Li said.

Raven looked to Caiden for help but he was still dumbfounded, snapping back to reality Raven was already on it her arms wrapped around his neck and her lips on his. The only thing they didn't expect was as they kissed Raven's wings sprouted and now folded around them. Mrs. Li didn't seem to be surprised and smiled at the two.

"I figured that's what happened, your definitely more my daughter than you realize Raven." Mrs. Li said sprouting her wings.

Caiden and Raven just stared and that's when Mr. Li came in, he smiled at them a lot calmer now and sat next to his wife. Mr. Li smirked at the young man and his daughter who were now following in their foot steps.

"Wait so you knew?" Caiden asked confused and both nodded.

"So why?" Caiden asked.

"Simple wanted to test another spirit master, its been forever since I've seen another one of us." Mr. Li said smirking.

"So where are the other spirits?" Raven asked.

"Your mother is my head spirit and has them in the smaller houses connected to this one. Though I've only had children with your mother." Mr. Li told them both.

"So where are your other spirits? and will the also be living with you?" Sakurai asked.

"They are at the apartment, and yes they will be. Things are getting rough around here and we cant be separated especially during an attack." Caiden said.

"I agree it is a good strategy." Mr. Li said.

"I think its apparent that we approve of our daughter staying with you, however you must promise us two things." She told him.

"I'd do anything if it meant not having Raven get hurt because she is alone." Caiden said a little worry in his voice.

"Well that's number one down, you will protect and care for our daughter, the second thing we can talk about when your old enough." She said smiling at them, looking to Raven who was scarlet red, though so was Caiden.

"If you touch my daughter in any inappropriate ways or defile my daughter ill kill you no remorse" Mr. Li said.

"I understand and thank you both so much, Mr. Li at some point may I talk with you about being a master? there is still a lot I don't understand." he asked.

"Yes we can set up a time for that but for now we should get Raven's stuff p..p..packed." he said sniffling as he left the room.

Caiden smiled at Raven, everything was all set now as Miki had already move in and the other two already lived with him though there was one obstacle left living with 4 attractive woman who were bonded to him forever. Raven skipped out of the room now and left Caiden in the small room alone, he seemed deep in thought now, he had just found out so much more, he wasn't alone and he wasn't the only one in this city who was a Spirit Master though he was unsure if that was good or bad. He shook it off as he stood up, leaving the room Raven joined him and both walked to their home which to Caiden meant safety for all of them as they were all together. Everyone together.
