Chapter 3

Chapter: 2 A Normal Day at School

Caiden woke to the feeling of someone coming into his room, as the door opened he opened his eyes to see Davina his new roommate according to his parents. Davina entered and smiled lightly tapping his shoulder, as she tapped his shoulder he in his half woken stupor turned to see her in nothing but bra and panties. He turned a dark red and quickly got under his covers

"Please cover yourself." he said throwing a sheet over her, he got to his desk and put some pants on just as she uncovered herself with the sheet.

"Why?, your my mate there is no reason to hide my skin from you." she said then blushed some looking him up and down.

"I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable ill cover myself." she said sadly then was about to walk out of the room.

"Oh yeah breakfast is ready" she said then finally left.

Caiden's heart was beating at a fast pace she was gorgeous alright but she had to be crazy barging into his room in practically nothing, not that he didn't like it but it was really forward. Besides that Caiden wasn't too poplar with the ladies in his other schools so he didn't have much time with woman, she also kept calling him her mate. Caiden at this point was unsure of what to think but he was still dead set on living his life normally and needed to get ready for school, with that he put on his uniform for his new school. Going down the hall he walked into the living room which connected to a small kitchen and then on the left it connected to the dinning room which overlooked the town. As he walked out he saw Davina already dress in her uniform which fir her very well, the dress was just long enough to not show her ass and her shirt was fit to her body showing off her other assets 'her boobs' he thought looking at her high C's.

"See something you like my mate." she said putting his plate down and now going up behind him and pressing herself up to his back.

"Yes ummmm... breakfast look delicious." Caiden said nervously blushing feeling her breath on his ear.

"Ouch" he said as Davina bit his ear lightly.

"Bad boy you cant lust after your mate after denying her unclothed body." she said jokingly jumping away from him.

With that she skipped out of the house smirking from ear to ear as he finished his breakfast and followed after her, finally catching up to her she smiled taking his arm. Caiden blushed some as she latched to his arm as they walked to school, on their way they passed shops and small homes. The last house they passed looked like a huge estate for a noble daimio or something it was very vast and took up a lot of space. As they got to the entrance a small girl with short black hair came out running straight into Caiden.

"Im sorry are you alright?" asked Caiden seeing her fall to the ground.

Caiden looked to the girl who stood about 6 inches shorter than him, she had short black hair which barely made it to the end of her ears, big brown eyes and she looked like a cute younger sister type character in a video game or an anime. He smiled at her, reaching his hand out to help her up.

"FINE!" she yelled and quickly after getting up herself ran off her cheeks a scarlet red.

"You mine my mate please do not ogle other girls, especially younger ones, pedo." she said and tugged him along towards school.

Caiden's mind was else where as they walked to school he couldn't stop thinking about the young lady and if she was okay or not. He couldn't leave things like that he had to find her make sure she was alright and apologize. Davina however only had one thought 'mine', she latched onto Caiden until they reached the office where she was reprimanded by a teacher. Even then she didn't let up until they were split up as she was a senior and he was a junior. Getting to class the teacher had him introduce himself to the class.

"Hello everyone nice to meet you I am Caiden Drake." he said then sat down in one of the two empty seats.

"Miss Lionheart." the teacher called her out and she stood up.

"As you are our class rep please help our new student as much as possible." the teacher told her and she nodded and after the bell rang walked over to Caiden.

"Hello Caiden, my name is Mikella Lionheart. Most of the other students just call me Mikka form short." she said nervously.

"Its nice to meet you, you wont have to worry about me too much I already know the layout of the school. I do have one question." Caiden said.

"Well thank you and that's what I'm here for, so shoot." Mikka said trying to sound cool.

"Well you see I'm trying to find a girl I met today..." before he could speak any further Mikka's eyes furrowed.

"Of course your one of those types." Mikka said and stormed off.

Caiden was left their by himself his jaw open, she didn't even let him finish just assumed he was looking for a girl he must have liked or something like that. Caiden went off to his next few classes with no further incidents, this was until he learned his gym class was a combined gym the upperclassmen. Going to gym he was anxious as he knew Davina would be there and people would most likely get the wrong idea, she was gonna make his school life hell especially if she called him her 'MATE'.

"This could be bad maybe ill just skip." He said to himself.

Caiden while walking away from the gym found himself going up the stairs towards the roof, the school itself had 5 stories. It was a private academy mostly for rich folk but some people got in on scholarships and other ways wither it was a sport or academic scholarship it didn't matter. Most of the students lived in the dorms on campus but some lived in apartments around town or with their parents. As he walked up stairs he heard it the most beautiful violin solo being play, following his ears he was now on the roof which was miraculous.

The roof wasn't just a roof it was almost like a courtyard except on the roof had flowers growing in long pots as well as large trees, it also had some benches around where people could sit with table in front of them. Caiden looked around and then finally saw her the young black haired girl who was playing her violin, he stayed quiet just listening for a moment and smiled. She finished and he started to clap, she was amazing and her violin sounded beautiful.

"Bravo, your really good" Caiden said sitting across from her.

"th...thanks" the girl said nervously and now sat back putting her violin down.

"We met this morning, I've been looking for you to apologize." he said smiling at her.

"Its fine...I..it was my fault too." she said and her demeanor changed seeming to relax a bit.

"Where are my manners, my name is Caiden and you are" he asked politely, trying not to scare the girl.

"My name is Raven nice to..." as she was interrupted by other persons coming onto the roof.

"Caiden!" both girls yelled.

Caiden face went stagnant, he knew exactly who the two girl were at the sound of their voices. 'this could be bad' he thought then looked over to the roof door where he saw them. Like a nightmare come reality standing there was Davina and Mikka both wearing very angry faces.

"I'm sorry Raven it was nice meeting you, hope to see you again but I have to run." Caiden said smiling as he ran dodging the other two girls.

The girls stood there and now looked to Raven who blushed and looked down, they smiled at her and sat down, once again her demeanor changed as she tensed and sat straight up.

"What is your relationship with my mate?" Davina said growling lightly.

"I also would like to know how you know Caiden and what you were doing up here" Mikka stated.

Raven slunk down and whimpered a little as the girls practically abused her not realizing how much this conversation was making her feel. She was not always the best with people and she didn't really know Caiden this was the first time they met but he put her at ease. These girls however in the current demeanor scared her and she stayed silent unable to speak. Davina noticed this and stopped looking at her like an enemy but rather how a mother would look to her child.

"I'm sorry I get very jealous when it comes to my mate however I see you are no threat and are like our pup." She said and smiled at the girl.

"Whats with this "mate" business." Mikka said looking to Davina

"Ignore the distasteful girl, she has no manners and is obviously oblivious. As for us would you like to have lunch?" Davina asked Raven

"ummmm... sure." the young girl answered

With that Davina took Ravens hand and walked off away from Mikka who still sat there fuming, she got nothing she wanted out of this conversation and no where near figuring out the enigma that is Caiden. She however would never admit that's what she wanted according to her all she wanted was to bring everyone back to class as both Caiden and Davina had skipped. Davina skipped after realizing Caiden hadn't gone to gym class.

Caiden now sat outside at lunch and with a deep sigh he starred out into the sky, this day had not gone the way he wanted but it could have always been worse. Looking out he felt a hand on his shoulder and looking up he saw Davina smile at him and next to her was Raven. Both girls sat down in front of him now and took out their lunches, Davina handed Caiden his and smiled as she knew he forgot money for lunch. Davina had prepared for that by making two lunches this morning before breakfast.

"Thank you Davina but how did you know?" Caiden asked her

"Well I wanted to be prepared and making you lunch is a mate's job." Davina said.

"It looks really good. All I get in mine is egg omelet" Raven said as they opened their lunches.

"Well if you would like ill trade you." Caiden said smiling at her.

"I couldn't trade anything for that, it was special for you by your m...m...mate." she said the last word slightly embarrassed, her cheeks turning red

"You are our pup and now my kin, feel free little one." she told Raven.

Raven smiled and traded with both of them, all three talked through put lunch about school and their classes so far, everything was going good. Caiden smiled a normal life want just out of his reach it seemed this could work though for all he knew this could blow up in his face as he knew even though the weirdness from yesterday hadn't occurred it could again and one of his new friends could get hurt. After lunch ended they all said their goodbyes and went to their classes, Caidens day had no more interruption just boring first days in class and getting syllabus's. As the end of the day came he seemed to be a bit more chipper. He texted Davina and let her know he would be late coming home as he had some errands to run. She accepted it but only because she had company coming over now, Raven had agreed to come over and 'hangout'.

"You girls have fun." he said to the girls as they walked off towards his and Davina's apartment.

Caiden took a few deep breaths of air, his chest had felt a little tight since Davina left and though it was like this most of the day as she walked further he felt more defenseless. Doing his best to ignore it he continued down the other side of the road towards the shopping district where he wanted to grab a few things he didn't have for the apartment.

Going down towards the shopping district he decided he needed to pick up some food and some other quick things for the new apartment he figured they might need. Walking into the shopping something seemed a little off, once again he felt like he was being watched and looking around he saw her a young girl with red hair and her body was curvaceous. She turned around fully and that's when he saw her stunning green eye which pierced right through him. She winked at him and smirked devilishly as she stood at the vendor.

"Why does she seem so familiar." Caiden found himself saying to himself out loud.

"Simple we are fated." the red head said as she appeared next to him and stroked his arm.

"uhhhh... wh..." he found himself unable to speak as she leaned on him her massive breast seductively pushing against him.

"Fox got your tongue." the red head said and went in to kiss him.

"no!" Caiden said sternly and put his hand on her mouth.

"Well bummer." the red head said smiling as she backed off then put out her hand.

"my name is Vix and you are?" she questioned.

"Caiden, what was all that about?" he asked confused

"Well I like to tease my marks." she said giggling.

"What do you mean by mark?" Caiden asked and as he spoke she was gone.

Caiden was so confused now and eventually said screw it and ended up grabbing groceries or at least trying. As he reached the register, the cashier asked for the money and looking for his wallet he stopped 'that b***h' he thought. Smiling he took out a small business card.

"I'm sorry I seem to have misplaced my wallet, please call this number and have them charge it to the company." Caiden said the grabbed his groceries, he wa unsure of what to do next but looking at the time decided he would go home and put in a police request the next morning.

Caiden found his way home and getting to the door sighed 'she took my wallet that has my apartments keycard and my ID' he thought. Sitting down he looked to his right and saw Raven coming down, his saving grace as besides his wallet almost anything of value was taken from including his cell and wallet. Raven spotted Caiden and smiled at him as she walked up to him.

"Caiden what are you doing in the lobby?" Raven questioned.

"Long story ill fill you in tomorrow for now would you mind calling..." as he spoke he was interrupted.

"Caiden, thank god I found you." Vix said smiling grabbing by the arm as she walked up to the two.

"Who is this?" Raven asked.

"I'm Vix and I'm a friend of Caiden's, ill be staying in his apartment with him for a while.

"Ooohhh... I see, well I have to get home. Goodnight Caiden." Raven said and ran off quickly blushing.

Caiden looked to the red head who smiled at him, taking out his wallet she passed it to him. He grabbed it and quickly checked it seeing that only 20 dollars was missing but why... This girl perplexed him so much right now, stole all of his things and now wanted to join him in his apartment. That's when another thought came to his mind 'Davina is going to flip out'.

"So are you going to invite me up for dinner?" Vix asked with the same devilish smirk she seemed to like to wear.

"Why would I you stole all my stuff." Caiden said.

"I brought it back, and if you want your phone back id say yes." she told him, Caiden then motioned her to follow.

"Fine but I do have a roommate, just to let you know." Caiden said.

"I know, I told you didn't I. Your my mark." Vix told him.

Caiden and Vix now entered the elevator and as it started going up Vix visibly got excited she smiled at Caiden and now handed him his phone. As Caiden took the phone he saw 5 missed calls all from Davina 'I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead' he thought and sighed heavily. Caiden not able to concentrate tried to think of how to explain this, it didn't help that Vix was wearing jean short shorts and a white crop top showing off her mid section and the neck line was pretty low. Caiden was surprised the shirt even stayed on with how loose it was at the neck and how high it was at the mid section.

Caiden finally got to the door with Vix and stopped as he went to open it.

"Time to meet Davina." Caiden said.
