Ballister and Carter arrived at the pack house. Orders began to fly around with Ballister’s barking. His mind was telling him that something must have gone wrong and it had something to do with what was happening. He couldn’t tell which was better, if she had left successfully with Carter. Whatever it may be, he believed that if she had gone with Carter that she would be safe but if she was in the hands of his enemies then they would do everything within their powers to harm her just to get to him.
