Gwen stopped in her tracks. The hope that had drained from her immediately blossomed as she slowly turned toward the direction of the voice. Black stood with an agile eye as she watched her. “Thought you didn’t need me anymore.” She said as she turned around. She didn’t let the relief that she felt seep out of her tone. Black chuckled, she could tell that Gwen was playing hard to get but aren’t people of her kind that way? Acting all mighty and powerful when they are nothing. Black walked further out away from the dark shadow allowing Gwen to catch a glimpse of her.
