CHAPTER 48— Black.
THIRD PERSON POV
Black and Red turned simultaneously to the direction of voice. Black’s eyes widened in fear. She didn’t notice anyone following her, in fact, she had made sure that no one followed her and the maids were fully distracted by the gossip of the dead pup before she snuck out.
Red shot her a disappointing gaze and then shook her head, “You are on your own on this one.” She whispered and just like an air, she vanished into the darkness leaning black alone to solve the problem.
Black swallowed, she didn’t need to see who it was, she needed to escape, find a way out of her situation. Whoever was there must have seen her, at worst heard her voice or even what Red had just suggested. The Alpha wasn’t going to temper justice with mercy. He wouldn’t even listen
