Chapter Three

Everybody jumped up grabbed everything they needed for the trip to grandma's house. I look at Ethan thinking what the heck am I getting into. Since I am not familiar with this town I handed my keys to Ethan since he knows where he's going, but before we left I put my backpack back in the trunk and head over to the passager side and sat there in silent.

Ethan: I am sorry for overreacting when we got here I should have been more straight to you when we were in the car on the way here, but I didn't know how to word it out and I thought I would scare you off.

Arianna: Ethan you're fine... so tell me about that Nathan, and why are you so against him. I mean did he do something to upset you or is he not what I was expecting?

Ethan: Nathan came from a rough area to where he didn't care if he stole things from people or if you went to jail. When I said it'd be best for us to stay at the hotel is because of him. I really don't trust him at all and that is sad because I trust a lot of people.

I put my hand on top of his and looked outside the window. Without known our hands locked together and I suddenly looked down and up at him I felt the "SPARKS" again this time stronger. I reached over and turn on the radio and placed my hand on my lap. I looked outside once again trying not to make any movement. Ethan started laughing.

Ethan: You have no reason to be shy around me, and we are at our destination.

The house looks like it came out of a fairy tale and yes for the first time I am speechless.. I did a 43 degree angle turn to capture every bit of beauty that's around me. I couldn't resist I had to get my camera this place is amazing and I'm not leaving without pictures.

Ethan grab my hand walked me towards the back where everybody was at. I could smell fresh baked goods and of course tea and lemonade. We both sat down next Joanne listening to everyone talking and enjoying themselves.

Arianna: Ethan is this a normal visit or did we intrude on someone special day.

He looks around for a second and back at me.

Ethan: Nah... normal visit grandma is basically the family hang out spot since she right in the middle. You probably going to meet everyone today and more likely your going to get your project done in one day.

Arianna: Not yet just one more person on my list and then it will be done and I would like to see your hang out spots, schools and your favorite places to eat. Don't worry you will get your share of my embarrassing moments when we meet my family.

After being there for awhile I got a lot of details for my paper and watching Ethan turn red during all the embarrassing stories they told me. The funniest thing I haven't heard a word about Tiffany I wonder why I might have to ask him about that when I question him.

I tune back into everyone conversation just in case I missed their question.

Grandma: Arinna! So where are you from?

Arianna: Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Island. We have two house that we inherent from family.

I'm starting to feel a little bit over heated I excused myself from the conversation and walked over to the garden. I can hear them talking about me like I am some kind of prize. Ignored them and continue take pictures of Ethan's grandma garden then I turned and took a picture of Ethan and his family enjoying nice warm day of spring. As I turned around capture more of the beautiful view I ran into a brick wall that has a six pack as I looked up Ethan twin was standing into front of me.

Arianna: Oh... I am so sorry I didn't see you there. You must be Nathan I was wondering if I am going to meet up with you and hear your stories about Ethan.

Nathan: Excuse me and who are you? I really don't talk to little girl's who I don't know, but I would consider it since you're beautiful.

Arianna: Um..... Thanks and can you tell me something you both shared during your younger years?

Ethan breaks away for a second to finding me talking to Nathan and had to excuse himself. He walks over to me with a concern look on his face.

Ethan: There you are! I was looking for you, because I promise you I would take out for lunch at my favorite spot.

I looked at Ethan confused and went on with what he was was saying. I had to think of the next thing to say before Nathan caught on.

Arianna: That's right... I asked Ethan to take me over to his favorite place to eat before we head out.

Nathan: Your heading out?

He gave me strange look like I was making this up. He study me for a second and then scratch his head confused.

Arianna: Before I leave I would like to take a picture of everyone in a beautiful spot. Why doesn't grandma pick.

Everyone gather around water fountain that made the picture just as precious. I wonder why she picked this certain spot.

Arianna: In count of three everyone say cheese with huge smile.

I click three different type of shots and close my lens on the camera and I looked up at everyone with a smile. I know I have a few day's left here but I want to work on something for this family.

Ethan: Are you ready to go?

Arianna: Yup! I am ready.

Everyone walks up to us and gave us a hug goodbye. The last person standing there was his grandma she was excited and also sad at the same time. She reached up hugged Ethan goodbye then turns to me and gives me a hug. She whisper something into my ear.

Grandma: Come back anytime you are now part of the family.

Arianna: I will.

We finally made it to the car and started heading out Ethan seem to be in one of those moods again I kept to myself like I did on our way here. We made it to our destination it was a old diner that plays music outside for entertainment which I thought was cute in it's own way.

Ethan: Okay... so we have the best tasting food and best homemade Shakes in Michigan. You can't tell me that there is a place that can beat this.

Arianna: I might have to try it before I speak the truth to you. Right now "The Pixie" stands in my mind, but it could change by the time we leave here.

We stood there for a second and waitress sat us down. I looked over at Ethan he already knew exactly what he wanted and at this point I guess it was me who been holding up everyone. I slowly lay down menu and waited for waitress come back.

Ethan: I would like my usual

Arianna: I would like the same thing he getting.

Waitress came out with two trays that had two coney dogs, one coney burger, coney cheese fries, and chocolate black cherry shake she placed them down in front of us. The look on my face was priceless and I ordered it without asking.

Ethan: Okay let's make a "DEAL" if you eat all that I will answer a your questions, but if don't eat all that I get my wish and if I am up to it you will get your answers.

Arianna: What's your wish?

Ethan: If I told you it wouldn't come true.

I sat there pouting like a child that got told no because they couldn't have ice cream, and then I left my head high showed him that I can do it. I gobble down every last piece of food that was in front of me and looked up at him with a what look on my face.

Arianna: So what do you like to do here beside the "Low Riders"?

He throw his last piece of food in his mouth looked at me with those sexy eyes. I am wondering what he is thinking at this point.

Ethan: I know living a town with less sightseeing and tours is always a deal breaker, but there is this one place I go to get away from everything.

I gave him a show me please look as he was talking. I wanted to learn more about him and where he came from.

Arianna: Please take me there... I want to see it with my own eyes.

He gets up and slowly walks over to me and slides out my chair and helps me up. We walked out of the restaurant and jump into my vehicle I sat there in silence waiting to see where we are going. We pulled up to this amazing place I couldn't wait to walk around it and of course I grabbed my camera do you really think I would skip out on this?

Ethan turns off the vehicle and looks at me with those beautiful blue eyes.

Ethan: Are you ready?

Arianna: Of course!

We both get out of the car and walk slowly around as I looked at everything. Believe me I never seen anything like this as we walked closer to art work that caught my attention on one, but he would pulled me away to another so I wouldn't look at it? I finally slip away and head back to the aet work that caught my attention. As I was admire it I came across the artist name.

Arianna: Ethan.....

Ethan did a art piece of his parent's.. I knew now why he avoid this area when we were walking around. I toom a few pictures before Ethan found me. He pulled me away from the art work like he was upset at me.

Arianna: Ouch! Ethan you are hurting me. Please let go?

Ethan quickly let's go and he started to come near me I slowly moved back from him and walked back to my car with tears falling down my cheeks.

I got back into my vehicle and didn't say anything for rest of the time we were on our way back. We pulled up to the hotel and we got two bed room. I walked into the bathroom to take shower and I noticed that there was a Hobby Lobby right next door so after a quick shower I am thinking aboit heading over there to get something. Right now I am not talking to Ethan.

Ethan sitting on the bed thinking about what had happened at his art spot. He didn't know what got into him and knew better then to put his hand on a woman. Ethan walkwd up to the bathroom door raised his had to knock on the door but he stop himself. Suddenly the shower turn off Ethan run full force to the bed and her body wash fumigates the room.

Arianna: I am heading out to grab something's before we head out tomorrow and something to keep my mind at eased and if want to you can come with me.

I walked over to him and wrap my arms around him. There's something about him I can't get enough of him and I am gonna tell him how I feel but when is the good time. We packed up the vehicle and out to the Conway's. We have arrived and everyone was already out to say goodbye.

Joanne: Please don't be a stranger visit anytime with or without Ethan.

Asia: I like you better then last girl she smelt bad like nasty fish..

I guess Tiffany had a bad reputation in every place she has been at. When the family has nothing good to say about her that's sad. Man my diary entrance is going to be huge.

We climb back into the vehicle and head out I have a feeling this road trip is gonna be long. Ethan grab my hand and kissed it as we were driving I wanted to tell him "I LOVE YOU" but I couldn't it wasn't time. As we get closer I can feel the butterflies flying around my stomach. Now it's my parent's time let the embarrassing story start about how I wanted to be singer, model, and yes actress.. What I hate is everything on VHS so instead of explaining just watch it.

By the time I was born my father has been captured every single moment of my life on VHS.. I am ready for it Arianna Story take one... I am glad when we get there it will be late so I can enjoy one night of freedom of embarrassing moments. I see the Towers and boy are they beautiful at night. Ethan stund by the beauty of the bridge. I told him how to get to my place and we pulled into my drive way and we decided to leave everything in car for the night all we wanted to do is sleep.
