Lily’s POV
I woke up as soon as the alarm clock rang. This was my first day of work, and I have to impress my boss by working early. I looked at the handsome man lying next to me, and I smiled. Vincent was almost perfect, and every woman desired a man like him.
“Do you have an appointment today?” I asked him when he opened his eyes and looked back at me.
He shook his head. “Nah, but your alarm clock woke me up,” he said and laughed. “I’m sure your mom and Angela woke up too because of it.”
I know he’s just teasing me. I smiled in response and got up. "Go back to sleep while I prepare Angela’s breakfast and food packs.”
“Angela shouldn’t go to school yet,” he said. “She’s still not well.”
“She’s fine now,” I said. “And she wants to go to school.” I stood and prepared to take a bath. “
