Adrian’s POV
“Welcome home, sis.” John hugged and kissed her sister on her cheek. “How was the flight? Did your twins behave themselves on the plane?”
Diane just laughed at her brother. “They were very good on the plane.”
The twins run to their grandparents. “Grandma, Grandpa!”
“By the way, what happened? Why did your flight get delayed?” John asked.
“Everything was smooth. We got delayed because of a sudden problem with the engine,” she said.
“So where is my sister in law?” Diane asked. When she looked at me, she smiled. “By the way, thank you, Adrian, for picking us at the airport.”
“No problem,” I said and saluted her.
“She’s home. It’s late already,” John said. “She still has work tomorrow.”
“Work? Did she not resign yet from her job?” Diane asked with knitted brows.
