CHAPTER TWENTY SIX
Arriving at Parkway Drive, Stella’s first stop was the Parsons’ home. Seeing a car in their driveway, she decided to go straight there. She parked on the side of the road, planning what questions she would ask.
But, as she got out of her car, she heard a friendly “Hello!” from across the street.
Graham Haddow had his front door open and was looking out curiously at her.
“Agent Fall? You’re here again?” he called.
“Yes. I’m checking some more facts. I need to speak to you as well. Do you have a moment?” Stella asked, thinking that he might have been heading out.
“I was going out. But that can wait,” Graham said, opening the door wider.
If Graham was going out to the store, she should talk to him first, Stella decided. She jogged across the road and walked inside.
