Serena stormed out of Elias’s chambers, slamming the door behind her. The cold night air hit her face, but it did nothing to cool the heat rising in her chest. Her heels clicked sharply against the stone path as she walked back toward her quarters, her fists clenched at her sides, her jaw tight. She was crying, she didn't care who see her, her eyes was burning not with tears of pain, but of fury. By the time she reached her chamber, she was shaking.
