The news that Yu Han had won first place in the business competition spread quickly throughout Yuying High.
Everyone now saw her in a new light. Those who had once mocked and bullied her no longer dared to provoke her. Even the homeroom teacher paid extra attention to her, speaking to her several times and encouraging her to apply for top business universities.
Only Li Na, watching Yu Han steal the spotlight, burned with growing jealousy and hatred. She could not believe Yu Han had not only become physically tough but also talented enough to win first prize in the competition.
“Why her? Why should some poor brat get all this attention?” Li Na muttered through gritted teeth, staring at Yu Han, who was surrounded by classmates.
Seeing her anger, her lackey quickly said,
“Calm down, Na. Yu Han must’ve just gotten lucky. Maybe she even copied her business plan!”
“Copied it?” Li Na’s eyes lit up. A vicious idea formed in her mind.
“Yes — she copied it! I’m going to ruin her reputation completely!”
That same night, Li* had someone find a winning business competition project from a few years earlier. She then modified it slightly to match Yu Han’s plan, creating a fake “original version.”
Early the next morning, Li Na took the forged “original” plan to the homeroom teacher.
“Teacher Wang! Look!” she urged, handing over the document.
“Yu Han’s competition plan is copied from this old project! She cheated to win the prize — it’s outrageous!”
The teacher took the papers and compared them carefully. The core ideas and structure were indeed very similar. He frowned, suspicious.
“Are you sure this is the original?”
“Absolutely!” Li Na insisted.
“A senior sent this to me. He won first prize with it back then. Yu Han must’ve found it somewhere, changed a little, and passed it off as her own. She’s a liar!”
The teacher paused.
“I will look into this properly. You may go back for now.”
Li* was thrilled that the teacher believed her. She waited eagerly for Yu Han to be disqualified and shamed by the whole school.
The teacher soon called Yu Han to his office, laid both plans on the desk, and asked seriously:
“Yu Han, explain this. Why are they so similar?”
Yu Han picked up the documents and glanced at them. A cold glint flashed in her eyes.
She could tell at once that the so-called “original” was a fake. Not only did some data and cases only appear in recent years — making it impossible for the plan to be years old — but the clumsy editing marks made it obvious someone was framing her.
“Teacher Wang, this ‘original’ plan is forged,” Yu Han said calmly.
“My plan is completely original. Every detail was carefully thought out by me.”
“Forged?” The teacher was doubtful.
“But the two plans are very similar. How can you prove you didn’t cheat?”
“Easily,” Yu Han said, handing him her notebook.
“This is my draft. It has all my revisions and thought processes, with a clear timeline. Besides, several marketing cases in my plan are based on recent campus trends — they couldn’t possibly be in a project from years ago.”
The teacher flipped through the notebook carefully.
Sure enough, it recorded Yu Han’s entire process, from initial idea to repeated revisions, with a timeline matching her explanation. And the cases she mentioned were indeed recent developments on campus.
The teacher’s expression softened.
“I’m sorry, Yu Han. I misunderstood you. Someone really is framing you.”
“I know who it is,” Yu Han said flatly.
The teacher understood immediately. He knew Li Na had long been hostile to Yu Han, and this was almost certainly her doing.
“I will handle this properly. You won’t be wronged,” he promised.
Yu Han nodded and said no more.
But inside, she had grown truly hostile toward Li Na.
This woman had provoked her again and again.
Did she really think Yu Han was someone to be bullied so easily?
